Sounds like if there really are MIB types then they will be paying your friend a visit soon to find out what he saw and more about his lightening fingers. Maybe even keep tabs on you for sharing the story on the internet. Good luck to you both.
If I quit posting you guys will know what happened to me. Keep me in your thoughts. This guy actually told a cop what happened before he got home and his wife said he shouldn't have done that. Worried he's gonna end up in the scenario you described.

So I work with this guy. A straight shooter from England, not prone to exaggeration. He's a friend. I just want to know what you think about this story he told me. He pulled me outside this morning and said I need to tell you something. He was literally shaking.

He was driving off the mountain last night (lives about halfway down) and he got to the dam in our small town. When the dam came into sight, a huge ball of light shot into the sky from the dry side of the dam. He said it was the size of a school bus and partially blinded him. As he kept driving, the needles in the gauges in his car we're spinning crazy but the car was driving normally. He got a mile down the road and they slowly went back to normal.

The next weird thing that happens is he passes a caravan of CHP cop cars coming up the mountain followed by three black SUVs with lights in the grill. They are all in full on response mode with sirens and lights and driving at high speed.

He calls his wife and she asks him to stop at the store. When he gets there he is freaked out and looks in the mirror. His hair is standing on end as static electricity does. He gets out of the car and when he goes to close the door, electricity shoots out of his finger, striking the car and setting off a "loud crack". He said the force of it knocked him back two feet and sent him to the ground. I trust this dude and he has no reason to tell me a BS story so what do you think?

I dunno. Could be a lot of things, including: a vivid dream, hallucination, ball lightning, movie filming, some experiment, a dude pulling your leg, fireworks with other shenanigans, one of the jokers that frequent here lighting his farts again, UFO's, Godzilla on vacation, Bigfoot going Super Saiyan, Montauk Project ramifications, uh, Philadelphia experiment ramifications, gremlins, Ancient Gods starting to awaken, Ley Lines bleeding off energy, The Earth firing balls of energy to take out that smarmy Mars once and for all... did I miss anything? Oh right, ghosts!

pfft, these stories get told so often by eyewitnesses and nothing happens to them....now if he had proof, then he'd get a nice visit. right?

Seriously though, I hope you guys had a better 4th than I did. Between the UFO stories, earthquakes and encounters with cops, I had a pretty crappy one. I got pretty roughed up on the morning of the 5th.

It could totally be some testing from one of the installation bases out your way. When I’m out in Barstow working I hear all the testing blasts at the base. But the desert is a very strange place, and it’s close to the mountain so the story is believable for the area. Just sayin’

Sounds like you got some splainin' to do!
We had a party on the 4th at my office and I drank enough to know not to try and drive home, so as a good citizen I slept in my office. Someone set the alarm on their way out without checking to see if anyone was still there so I woke up to it going off and what appeared to be the entire police force there to arrest the criminal mastermind that I am. I got handcuffed and roughed up a bit, but not as bad as my coworker who was asleep in his car. He got punched in the face by the cops and thrown to the ground so he has cuts all over his face. It took them two hours to do some brilliant detective work and see if I had a key to the door and the ability to turn the alarm system on and off. Not to mention the business cards with the company address in my wallet. Once they did that, we were finally let go. My wrists are about twice their normal size and covered in bruises because the one who cuffed me put them on as tight as possible. He actually laughed in my face when I politely asked him to loosen them. I think that might be my last office party.

Yeah, it's bizarre but what you're describing is the most likely scenario. Whatever it was, it produced a lot of electricity obviously. I'm glad I didn't experience it.

I'd be lodging a public complaint. That's some BS right there. I'm sure the first thing you said was, "Whoa, I work here and we had an office party, and rather than drive drunk like an a hole I slept here!"

Thanks for the supporting words bro. That is pretty much what I said verbatim, followed by "let me show you I can set and disarm the alarm and open the front door with my keys". Didn't matter. Everyone has been telling me to file a complaint but the bottom line is this is a small town. Do I want to put a target on my back? I'm still trying to decide what to do.
