Nice work by the Clippers. They should have a great defense.

Glad he didn’t sign with the lakers and make a super team.

I do not blame Leonard not wanting to sign with the Lakers since Lebron is declining and Davis always get hurt and I am feeling the same, I was really hoping he would go to the Clippers and I got my wish

Kawhi wanted Clips all along. He never wanted a super team but he did want a 2nd star.
Clips now slight faves given talent on that roster but treasure trove they gave up for PG13 means long term NBA balance.

Basketball wins.

Lulz, smh.

Toronto got played by Leanard. He was only signing Toronto as the last report. The Raps should have given him their best offer last Sunday...if by 6 he did not want to sign...they should have walked away. The next time a Canadian is projected as top 5...Toronto needs to try and make that happen. It appears NBA players are just babies...pick and choose where to go and with who...

ESPN...Leonard to the Clippers and Paul George in a trade.

OKC fan...and I wake up to this...stunning :omg:

Wow...Just wow

Well....OKC was in a bad spot. Capped out...couldn't do anything to improve. The players knew it....Presti knew it. Signing Noel, Mascula and Burks wasn't gonna get you to a title.

If fact all it did as probably alienate George...Can't blame him. I thought Presti's best move was to trade Adams to clear cap space...then extend George...dump Roberson.

It was either that...or go full rebuild...

If I'm the Thunder...I'm all in on the teardown now...Westbrook, Adams, ...anybody other teams want for a fair price.

Sadly...The Thunder will be remembered as the team that had so much talent in Durant, Harden, Westbrook, Ibaka...and couldn't win a title.:banghead:

Just saw a report that the Raptors declined Westbrook and George for Pascal Siacim. Looks like Kahwi's biggest priority was playing with George and the Clippers were the only team willing or able to make it happen.

Or, you can prove him right. I posted an article. It's not on me to try and prove anything right or wrong, I didn't write the Article. Are you an agent or a lawyer? If so, then you can explain it to us. If not, then by your own admission, you don't understand it.
You were very wrong about this and provided no real source data but want others to meet bars you don't.
Its sophistry.

KL chose LAC because he has the best situation as a favorite and a full roster that isn't super old (TOR) or 2 players deep.
You just blew off KL's QUOTE based on nonsense "sources" and are asking people for dissertations.

KL left ~221M in SA for a possible ~190M in TOR for the ultimate ~141in LAC... It was never about money; tax or otherwise but his best situation.
He's a title favorite now again on a 3rd team as it's undisputed leader.
He gets to battle his biggest rival in the same building with his hand-selected running mate.

The Lakers need a real GM, like the guy they refused to hire back, Jerry West.
Every possible advantage is fumbled away and has been for almost a decade now.

Well, your comment about Pop shows that you have no clue. No offense. But Pop has ALWAYS coddled his players. After an injury he keeps them out much longer than most if not all any other coach in the league. And if you don’t think Parker, Ginobolli and other didn’t first speak to him personally well that again shows that you have no idea what you are talking about when it comes to the Spurs. They shy away from the media and keep everything in house as much as possible. The fact that Parker said what he said was after months of trying to get across to him one on one. Leonard used his minor injury to show he wanted out. And the only thing that hurt about him leaving was that ignorant fans like yourself ended up feeling like you do based on just what you hear in the media.
Again, re-read what I stated. Pop had just lost his wife. He wasn't at that time in the same mood or situation to coddle anyone.
The vets did run to media and try to pressure KL to play earlier than he felt he was ready to.
It was their final hurrah but he didn't want to risk long term health and didn't trust their medical guys. --he takes his personal medical guy now him now everywhere and refuses team trainers.
The KD and Klay situations make you think KL was probably right to be risk averse.

It sucks for Spurs fans but you don't maintain a dynasty forever, a rebuild was and is inevitable.

That is interesting to consider.
A weird deal but basically 3-4 years of no high 1st rounder playing in LA or seeing them as viable options.

LAC has a lot of talent in house and a deep roster so it may be a few years before the talent drain hits them but I really wonder what LAL does.
The Danny Green/Javale and KCP resigning after KL was announced is not a good roster. They really need more horses and lack of resources to go get them stings.
They look like a 3rd or 4th seed to me, and the depends on the Jazz, Blazers and Nuggets
