The dline isnt deep like people think. But no I dont expect him to play again

I think it is. Even without Gregory.

Go back and look at the dline in the 2014 playoff game against GB, and tell me again how we're not deep now.

How about the League follow labor laws like all other employers? Why is that so difficult?

Their exemptions from law are not total. Gregory has established mental illness and established drug addiction. (By the way, that's why it's so difficult.) Under the ADA, employers are required to provide "reasonable accommodation" for his mental health issues instead of firing him.

If you have a citation for case law that established that the NFL is exempt from the ADA, please provide. I think that would be a very tough sell in court.

The NFL has drug abuse programs in place even for suspended players. And indefinite suspension is not a firing. It is in the CBA that the NFL withholds the right to reinstate said player once they feel he’s met specific parameters. No different than a police officer being put on leave for snorting cocaine in public. Nothing they’re doing is breaking any labor laws.

I wish we could move on from that guy. Waste of talent, tremendous waste of time.

I dont see it happening. People that think the stance on marijuana is gonna change soon are fooling themselves imo

If it saves one life from overmedicating or overdosing on more proven harmfully addictive legal and rule abiding Booze and Pills then HELL YEAH the NFL SHOULD ACT IMMEDIATELY TO LOWER THE PENALTIES OR LIFT THE BAN.

All the players have to do is pull a Marshawn Lynch and not talk so they dont get fined if they want to LOBBY THE LEAGUE. But who wants to promote weed use. Ya cant make any money at that and its illegal in some states. LOL.

These are VURNERABLE high strung ATHLETES that play a Contact sport and have Pain and Pressure to Cope with. They are College Educated and know what substances they can lose control and overmedicate with.

They can endure the pain they just need a little buzz not a Bunch of Liquor and Pills or Peds.

70% of these ENTERTAINER/ATHLETES have used weed and theres been NO CASES OF ANY DRAMA WHATSOEVER. But you get these young Naive Kids Liquored and Pilled up and their Assaulting and harming or killing our brothers and sisters and themselves.

Ban Alcohol, Weed and Pills and let these poor athletes suffer? Or at least give them access or choice to the LESS HARMFUL OF THE 3 so they arent constantly in harms way? How many more people will have to SUFFER and DIE BEFORE THEY CHANGE THE RULES?

BOOZE AND PILLS ARE FAR MORE HARMFUL ADDICTIVE AND ARE PROVEN KILLERS BUT LETS BAN THIS HARMLESS WEED.

THE BAN NEEDS TO BE LIFTED OR NOT EVEN POLICED. IT SHOULD BE A MINOR INFRACTION REGUARDLESS.

IF IT SAVES ONE LIFE FROM OVERMEDICATING OR OVERDOSING....WELL ISNT THAT ONE LIFE WORTH IT?

PEOPLE ARE DYING BECAUSE OF OLD AND OUTDATED RULES THAN DO NOT WORK.

THESE ARE ENTERTAINERS WHO PLAY A CONTACT SPORT NOT SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHERS. LETS NOT PROMOTE WEED USE BUT FOR GOODNESS SAKES LETS CHANGE THE RULES AND RAISE THE STANDARDS BECAUSE THE FEAR OF OVERMEDICATING ON BOOZE AND PILLS IS DRIVING THESE DIVAS TO THE HARMLESS BANNED SUBSTANCE.

THEY USE WEED TO COPE WITH THE PAIN ETC BUT CAN STILL PLAY USING WEED. IT MAY BE BREAKING THE RULES BUT IT ISNT CHEATING ANYWAYS SO WHO CARES AS LONG AS PEOPLE DONT HAVE TO BE IN HARMS WAY?

The people bitter over Gregory trying to get reinstated are hilarious.

It's almost like he stole something from them.

Why does it bother you if he's trying to get reinstated? Worst case, he doesn't and we are in the same boat we are today, which most people are fine with. Best case? He gets reinstated and gives us a third legit pass rushing edge player with Quinn and Lawrence.

And the league would win, as they do all other cases involving their penalization system.

How about players just stop doing stuff they know is against league rules? Why is that so difficult?

If all businesses did random drug test on a regular basis, half the country would be unemployed for illegal substances. The other half would just still be drunk coming to work after a late night bender.

A bit of exaggeration, but also not too far off from the truth.

Yet everyone of those persons would want umpteen chances to come back to work also.

are you wasting 25 hours a week on him? Is it wasting film study time from the other guys? Who cares. It isnt hurting ANYONE or distracting anyone from their job.

If he works out for us, great. If not... oh well. He wont be the first and he wont be the last.

If he is, no more kid gloves. No more working him in slowly and placating his weak temperament. He has to pull his weight and grow the hell up.

Get you butt out there, sweat, and make the team better like everybody else.

So tired of these kinds of players on the team.

Not all businesses pay their employees millions of dollars to be Public Image Ambassadors for their brand.

Can someone clear this up for me? Genuinely not sure what he’s asking for.

He’s attempting to not get suspended for the most recently failed test, even though it’s his umpteenth suspension?

Clear it up?

You explain it perfectly and it's still not "clear" to you????:facepalm:

Oh its deeper than 2014 for sure. Last year was the 1st year since like 07 dallas had a real defense.
Eggzactly. That 2014 D was a bunch of JAG's for the most part. The team strengths were Romo, Murray , and the OL.

See any stars here?
