Well Vegas has him behind Trubisky, that should tell you how far off he is, he`s not even the favorite in his team (Zeke is) let alone the NFL.

Not a knock on Dak, it`s just that he WONT be the MVP

Trubisky doesn’t have Zeke. Our most valuable player is Zeke everything on offense revolves around him. Our season went into the toilet without him in 2017. We’ve been carried by Zeke not Dak.

Totally agree, my only point was that Dak in no way is close to winning an MVP

I could be wrong but I doubt a QB who's had a HOF caliber RB has ever won league MVP. I don't think Dak is as far away from being in the conversation for MVP as some think because of the ability he has to make clutch plays in the 4th quarter. At times during big games he's carried the team on his back. He's got some great intangibles but no QB is going to win league MVP throwing for only 23 TDs a year. He needs bigger numbers, yards and TDs. I believe with the receiving corp we have he has a great chance to have a career year statistically. As long as we have Zeke he will probably always cancel Dak out when it comes to league MVP votes. Dak has yet to show he can play well without Zeke. His numbers dropped off with Zeke out of the lineup in 2017 and we couldn't win games.

Shoot me, but I think Trubisky has pretty good upside.
1 year college starter, 1 year horriffic offense
Last year was kind of his start.
Guess we’ll see

Cooper had 40 yds in that Rams game.

Yep where was our offense in the first half of that Rams game?
Zeke was being 8 man in the box and our WR were in single coverage a prime situation to gut them out with our passing game.
We managed 7 points and then once the Rams had the game in hand we dinked and dunked ourselves to some scores.....but the game was over by then.
When your a run team only don't expect to reach the Superbowl...

The last 6 MVPs have been QBs. They've averaged 4700 yards, 44 total TDs and a 110 passer rating. Newton has the lowest yardage number, at 3800, and the lowest rating, at 99, but his team went 15-1 that year and he put up 45 total TDs. Brady has the lowest TD total, at 32, but he had big yards and rating and he's Brady. Generally, though, you need 4000+ yards, 34+ TDs and a 100 rating to even be in the conversation.

Of the guys on that list, Rodgers, Luck, Brees, Brady, Rivers, Wilson, Roethlisberger, Ryan, Stafford have done those numbers in the past. Newton we covered. Goff came up a bit short on TDs last year but had huge yardage. Wentz was easily on pace to meet them in 2017. Mayfield, well, he had a good rookie year and the Browns' offense is everyone's darling headed into this season.

Dak managed 3880 yards last year and a 106 rating his rookie season, but he's never produced even 30 total TDs. Even if the offense improves this year, he'll be competing with Zeke for those extra TDs. The Cowboys offense just isn't built to get Dak the MVP.
Dak isn’t built to earn the MVP.

...No big deal!....you want respect?....play the game...take no prisoners...ram the ball down all of your opponents throats ...all the way to a Super Bowl victory....and that's how you get their respect....plus another trophy!...

They also picked us to beat the Panthers a few seasons ago in what became Romo’s last start..despite the fact the panthers were the best team in the NFC that season. They like our money because we are passionate.

TBH..this is simply because Dak doesn’t pass much because our offensive design.

True, and they, like us, have no clue what Moore will do. So, they can only go by what Linehan and Garrett ran. So, I too think this is more about uncertainty with our OC than anything else. If they see something in preseason they like from Moore, then they will adjust the ranking for Dak.

OP. Butthurt over the fact two former MVPs in Cam Newton and Matt Ryan are flavored over Dak to be mvp candidates. Shocking players who have proven to play at an mvp level would be favored over one eho hasn't. This is why no rational football fans takes Dak loving fanboys seriously.
