ESPN says there are 23 current NFL players from Boise St.

There are 6 current Cowboys players from Boise St. including DeMarcus Lawrence and Leigthton Vander Esch.
Of the six, 4 are likely starters on defense this season.
Again not arguing the quality of the Boise State program or the players they've produced. I've sent 4 players to play for Boise State the last few years. I think they do a great job, as did Chris Peterson before he went to Washington.

I'm merely pointing out that they benefit from playing in a very weak conference and that anyone claiming Kellen Moore's offensive stats against those defenses serves a some sort of proof that he's a great offensive mind is a nonsensical argument.

Silly me. I kept looking for a No.1.

Middle of the pack is old hat for the Cowboys. .500 is comforting. He'll fit right in.

Oh,now let's see if I'm on the same race track & haven't been lapped in this imparted knowledged decree, that your laying down on us "regular feebs of fanish footballdom" o.k. With you, EMPEROR OF THE NORTH?(great Lee Marvin flick BTW:thumbup:) so what your pointing out to the amassed unwashed ,is THAT the compiled body of UNTOUCHABLE
FOOTBALLISH works/records that KELLEN MOORE had laid ahold of,and latched a death grip onto in the colligate arena, should be dimly viewed upon ,somewhat very much akin' as to him merely being the toughest&roughest in the field of lame/crippled/ wine-0 hobo bum fighters ,only capable of dispatching lesser foes of lame/crippled/ wine-0 hobo bum fighters,,, er,,rather than a the george foreman class,,,right? ,,,I mean, I'm Rollin' on the same sanctioned motor raceway's track your running on, in your implied vocalized line ,correct?o_O

Wow he hasn’t even called plays in a scrimmage as the OC now he is the next hot HC candidate. This is like meeting a girl on a dating app and saying she is my future wife and mother to my kids before even going on a date.

This is what people need to understand....He was a master of audibling @ the line of scrimmage here in Boise. There was a reason this kid was 50-3 in college. He was the catalyst. And if it wasn't for our lousy kicker...he would have been 52-1. I just know from being a student of the game...and breaking down video....he was brilliant in getting his offense in the right play....and getting defenses out of balance. Time and time again...you would watch a defense...especially the Lbers...and when they started pointing....and heads were looking around...I knew Kellen had them right where he wanted them. It will be a key this season to look for...Watch how defenses respond...and when Lbers start to flip sides not knowing what side of the offense is the strong side...that's when the games begin. ;)

Stanford or Cal compared to Boise St. is not a big differential.

You act as if it's Grambling vs Alabama.

The fact that Moore is the All-Time leader in Wins by a college QB while having the body/arm of some 8th grade QBs means the offense had to be something special.

If the competition was that weak, multiple other QBs in the conference should have put up huge numbers. Especially QBs with NFL type physical talent that Moore does not possess.

The numbers were somewhat extreme for Moore at Boise St.

It's the consistency that impresses me. Quality of opponents is a big thing, but not the only thing.

Dallas Cowboys: Why Kellen Moore won’t last long as offensive coordinator
https://thelandryhat.com/2019/07/03/dallas-cowboys-kellen-moore-wont-last/

"I firmly believe the Dallas Cowboys brain trust made the right decision when they promoted Kellen Moore as offensive coordinator. And soon it will be supported by others in the league with head coaching job offers. The question that remains is whether we will get a Super Bowl ring out of Moore’s genius or just a couple of years of amazing stats?"

genius is rather odd term for a guy we haven't seen call a play

and it don't take a genius to fix this O, just common sense

The talent is there for Kellen Moore and the Cowboys' offense to make the most of. If he and the offense fails to garner the wins needed to produce a winning product, it's fairly reasonable to expect Jerry and Stephen to make the necessary changes to correct the problem. As of now what's destined to occur is a question that many are struggling with defining.

I'm more than willing to see what's destined to happen and dealing with the results as they are revealed. The situation that Dallas is in isn't anything new. We've been witnesses to two decades plus of mediocre results and hoping for better results to come. The Dallas front office shares that mindset with many of their fans. It's either do better or depart, according to our FO.

Whether Kellen and Garrett last much longer should be decided within the coming season, according to the powers that be. I'm perfectly willing to wait for the evidence to be revealed, rather than drawing prematurely and otherwise, foolishly premature conclusions regarding our success or failure. Twenty-plus years of mediocrity and a little more are plenty. Obviously, the Dallas FO feels likewise. ;)

...Don't expect him to exactly take the league by storm; but expect him to be deep into the fire by mid-season...and don't be to surprised if he comes come out unscarred!

IMO, JG has been planning for this a long time probably right about the time of Kellen's career ending injury. Maybe sooner. But by the end of Dak's rookie year Kellen had the OC job not only in sight but probably started working on what they wanted to do post Scott.

We've seen what Jason wants in an O, it's called 50/50 balance with play action deep and double move deep, slants and TE dumps to move the chains, a bunch of screens. Look, JG has the man power to push teams up and down the field and the speed to just straight play 9 ball vs any DBs.

I really doubt they'll screw this up, but injuries might.

Either Kellen "Doc" Moore or Jason Witten will be our next hc. Normal rules and logic dont apply to us.

The only reason Kellen Moore is here, is because of Scott Linehan. The guy was basically drafted by Linehan.

He was brought from Detroit to Dallas by the same man who was the scapegoat in the off-season to run the teams offense in practices. In fact, Garrett brought in Cassel, instead of having Moore play, way back in 2015. Moore’s whole NFL career has been spent under Scott Linehan

He’s also here now because Dallas isn’t changing the offense and they needed a scapegoat in Linehan.

Dallas wasn’t completely changing the offense in the last year of Garrett’s contract.

That bears the appearance of being creative to the point of being fictitious. Right now, it's just a premature conclusion that's being mentioned. We'll see how capable they actually are by the time 2019 comes to an end. If they're that good, there'll surely be no need for further assumptions. For JG and KM to want something is one thing but making it happen is an entirely different animal. It's truly a known fact that Kellen is untested in the here and now.

If they turn out to be that good we'll win it all. So far, neither JG nor Kellen have yet displayed that level of competence, which is why Jerry Jones refused to award JG a premature contract, pending greater success. This is exactly why I'm willing to await these sure-fire results you're mentioning. If such a scenario comes to pass, we'll all be celebrating for some time to come. In the meantime, let's just see what 2019 has to offer. ;)
