Only thing I've seen Dak drag, is his team to the endzone late in 4th quarters.

I looked at his 4th quarter splits.

Interestingly, in 2018 he did more of his running in the 4th, particularly for 1st downs, and his yards per attempt is pretty low relative to the rest of the game. Sounds like he does use his legs to carry the team in the 4th. Which makes sense.

Surprisingly, that's not how it went in 2016 and 2017. He ran relatively little in the 4th in those years.

Dak's running and durability are two big pluses I don't think he gets enough credit for.

If we’re talking NFL triplets, it would seem that Kraft-Belichick-Brady have done pretty well over the past @20yrs or so. ;):)

That's when you lose or win football games. It's all about the fourth quarter. Go Cowboys

This might be the "Homer inside" but let the year play. My money is on Dak. We will get everything he has and it might surprise some. This kid is rock solid. Stats are over hyped and a popular discussion when Stats is the measuring piece of a conversation. It is however, not the total outcome of the final product.

"Triplets" has turned into "Dream Team", watering down the meaning.

There was one Dream Team - 1992, the original pro Olympic hoops team loaded with future hall of famers. There was one set of Triplets - hall of famers Aikman, Smith, and Irvin.

Some big reaches on that list.
The guy writing that are in love with 1 or 2 guys so much on a team that they pretend the 3rd guy in the triplet is better than he is.
Suddenly James Conner is good enough to be a triplet? The guy may not even be a starter all season and suddenly he is a triplet.

This is madden level analysis. I get it. Its the offseason and its fun.

As far as Cowboys. Dak is considered at 10ish level QB depending on who is making a list.
Cooper still needs to shed the Oakland labels 1 more season.
Zeke is clearly the stud.

This might be a good thing. Not many top 5 triplet teams that season won the Super Bowl in this era.

The last I can remember where a popular triplet won a SB if you call it a triplet was Manning, Wayne, and Harrison. If that isn't a triplet and need to include a rb, then maybe the 05 Steelers of Big Ben, Parker, and Hines Ward would count. Otherwise, you will have to go with Warner, Faulk, and Bruce.
