DeMarcus Lawrence continues rehab on his shoulder, but even while doing that, the Cowboys defensive end is thinking about getting a leg up on Von Miller.

The Broncos linebacker has talked openly about breaking Michael Strahan’s single-season sacks record. Strahan had 22.5 in 2001.

His career high for a season was 14.5 sacks.

This will be his best season to accomplish this goal. With Quinn and the potential of Gregory coming back should mean less double teams which should translate to more opportunities.

Any team goals or is this all about him? It's not about a SINGLE season record, it's about making this DL better at pressure because last season, they weren't even mediocre.

Every time I hear or see these guys talking about breaking these records, I recall that Sunday when Emmitt broke Walter Payton's record and was all giddy and smiles as they raised his banner in the stadium. They lost the game to the Seahawks.

I don't begrudge them being all about them money because that's the lay of the land but at least give the impression they're all about the team.

Eagles did give up 6 to Osi once but their oline isn’t that bad.

Taking a fall?!? Ugh. He got 21.5 sacks legitimately. For him to serve record on a give-up and put a big fat asterisk on the accomplishment? And to take the legitimate record from Gastineau (and now Jared Allen and Justin Houston)—who actually earned it with legit 22s? I think it was tacky as hell.
