Great news and a good sign. It's encouraging to see that our receivers are being conscientious enough to prepare themselves this way. They're to be congratulated and admired for their wisdom and dedication. It should make our passing game more effective than it might have been otherwise. :)

Glad our star RB in Darius Jackson showed up too. A lot of the other guys look up to him.

I would keep Jackson over Weber if it comes down to it; Weber has PS eligibility if nothing else. But I think there's also a route where you keep 4 RBs and go thin somewhere else (you only need 2 QBs and 3 TEs, for instance) and 8 on the OL. The team isn't as deep as this time last year in terms of sure things.

Definitely curious to watch how the team decides the last few spots at Rb/FB.
J.O. deal more than likely means he's a lock on the team.

There's no replacement for Olawale on the roster so he's definitely a lock. We didn't keep Keith Smith. I guess there is that other fullback? But he's just a camp body I think. Not even a PS candidate.

Nah, but wish they went after a guy like Chandler Cox or Alec Ingold from this last draft class.
Guys who fit that traditional size/blocking FB build that Garrett seems to like

In today's NFL you want a guy at that position who isn't completely useless in the receiving game. But you do need a FB on the roster if you are built as a run heavy team like we are. If you're the Eagles and Doug Pederson and rarely run the ball except as an occasional decoy or with a big lead, you don't need a FB. Also they have an elite QB. But if you're the Cowboys you must have a FB so it's between a traditional guy and more of a scat guy like Olawale.

So I'm curious about a guy like Pollard. Does he just concentrates on being an rb or does he also practice with the receivers? Now that I look at it Jackson's there so Pollard should have been there. Or maybe I'm expecting too much from a 4th rounder.
he is a rookie. there were no rookies in that group....
