the best is Super Bowl XXVIII in Atlanta. We were pretty nervous at halftime but then we came out and handed to ball to Emmitt like 8 straight times and the rest is history.
There's a great YouTube documentary about this Super Bowl. Emmitt says that at halftime, the Cowboys went into the locker room disgruntled, trailing Buffalo 13-6 and made their mind that they were going to "impose their will" (in Emmitt's words) on the Bills in the second half. Nothing fancy or schmancy, nothing complex or exotic, just flat out smash-mouth football, mano-a-mano, our-strength-versus-yours. Dallas knew it was superior and had the better offensive line and better players, but so far the scoreboard just didn't reflect it. Combine this with the fact that Aikman was still recovering from a severe concussion suffered just a week ago, and it was all going to come down on the shoulders of Emmitt.
James Washington got things jump-started with that fumble recovery touchdown to tie the game 13-13, and then as soon as Dallas got the ball back again, Emmitt went to work. An entire drive consisting of almost nothing but Emmitt carries, culminating in a touchdown. 20-13 Cowboys. Emmitt says that the Bills were shocked and deflated after that drive, with this facial expression of "what just happened????" (again, Emmitt's own words.) Then the Cowboys promptly plowed the Bills over again for another Emmitt touchdown, went up 27-13, and the game was as good as over.
First half: Bills 13, Cowboys 6.
Second half: Cowboys 24, Bills 0.
That second half was as dominant a half of football as has ever been played in any Super Bowl.
