If Zeke didn't have off the field issues I would be at 10 and be happy to pay the man. Top money needs stability going forward. not 100% sure its there yet. I'm at 7.5 What say you?

Same question for Dak. He behaves himself off the field but is average to mediocre on it. Why does he deserve a big pay day?

9. He has no major legal trouble currently slated. The Dallas Cowboys can win with a different QB than Dak Prescott, deep down you all know that.

You’re not going anywhere without Ezekiel Elliot.

10 comfortable on the field
6 off. Not that he’ll do anything terrible (I think he was innocent of DV) but that he will do enough minor stuff to have Goodell suspend him again

Overall 8 comfortable. I would pay the man, but I would do it now and make it a 3 year extension. Due to his physical nature and work load I wouldn’t make it more than 3 years

True, but with Mike White thrown straight into the fire for a year we're not. Someone from high in the 2020 Draft class, sure. But definitely not some retread failure veteran like Sam Bradford, Matt Cassel, Tyrod Taylor etc.

I always doubt the media these days so not sure about this holdout talk. If true it is a 2. If false it is a 6. Talent is a 10 but he is a running back and I don't think they should give him a new contract. He has 2 years left and they can tag him so the team should have all the leverage. Bell has tried to re set the protocol. Jets bailed him out with a big contract. If that proves to be a disaster for them I think RBs are in big trouble. The reality is that the position has less value and it is a passing league. Those guys take a pounding so their window is smaller. It isn't fair but that is the reality. With the salary cap and rookie contract length I don't see how that gets fixed.

I don’t mean currently on the roster, just in general. This roster could win 10-12 games if you signed Foles, or even 8-10 if you got Flacco.

IF Zeke had Emmitt Smith type character, leadership, and likeability, I would be more apt to pay him.

Do you remember Emmitt held out and missed the first two games of the season? No one is perfect and Zeke IS a generational talent.

6. He's got to be one of the dumbest guys in the league. A few days after he barely skates by another suspension, he starts asking for an extension with 2 years left. His talent level is on another level, but so is his stupidity.

You can't really trust a knucklehead like him to stay out of trouble.

Foles and Flacco are the same QB. Foles won a SB because he played in the 2nd best system in football with the most talented overall roster in the league.

And Dallas is voted 2nd most talented this year by websites that aren’t very high on Dak, so it wasn’t because of him.

If I remember correctly Emmitt was also coming off a super bowl win and MVP. What has Zeke accomplished lately that doesn't include police involvement or tabloid garbage?

Two rushing titles in three years. Most rushing yards since he entered the league. Team record for receptions by a RB last season. More than 2,000 yards from scrimmage in 2018. Other than that he hasn't done anything.
