We haven’t had a back like Zeke since Emmitt. People keep acting like we can win with any back. I guess you can survive with a mediocre back, but I’ll take the stud player any day. Obviously we have a cap, but the line is set for years so they should try their best to keep these triplets together for at least 5 years.

Dak has had a tremendous start to his career and will keep getting better. People that act like he’s a bum are nuts.

Lets win a superbowl before we start talking about breaking up the team.

I just don't get why Dallas can't have Dak AND Zeke? I think they go together pretty well. Dallas has their line locked up for a while as well as defensive talent. Sign one of Amari/Jaylon/Byron, keep drafting well (our track record since 2010 is pretty good), and they SHOULD win at least one Super Bowl, assuming Garrett is gone. I say from 2019-2024 is a legit Super Bowl window.

I believe both will he locked up long term but as good as zeke and Dak are the engine that makes this train roll is the big uglies up front

I still have minor concerns for Tyron and Lael but they aid what zeke and Dak get done

:clap:Some posters have made ( or tried ) a case to let DLaw, Dak, Zeke, Coop, and Jones walk rather than giving market value second contracts. Yet they still talk about winning a Super Bowl.....with what if you follow their plan? Strange thinking for sure IMO.

It is. I didn't think Tank was worth the money but that is what the market is for an end. Dallas is better with him than without.

I believe its strange thinking Hawk that fans think that its somehow possible to retain everyone, that cant happen.
Everything seems all well and good now, it just pending contracts, but the levy is sure to break,, the flood is coming.

That’s fair I was willing to let DLaw go.

What all these pay the man fans don’t realize is that the NFL is not the NBA. Where you can pay 3 players 75% percent of the salary cap and have scrubs fill out your roster. You can’t have 10 players taking 75% of the cap in the NFL. This robs you of your depth and mid level players.

most of us fans don't listen to an idiot like Cowturd that invents the Zeke leaving narrative. You nailed it. Good post and thread.

I think SOME wanna wish Zeke and Dak both to the corn field lol...as long as they take JJ and Garrett with them...problem is,its fantasy, not reality. They need to just stop the nonsense.

I understand there may a player ( or two ) we're going have to make the tough decision of letting him walk ( L Collins ) but you build your team with a core of blue-chippers, especially at critical positions. But as I stated, some posters/fans were/are ready to let them ALL walk cost they are asking or want for too much money.

Agree 100% but I think we can trust Stephen know what he's doing. After all, we paid Troy, Michael, Emmitt, Hadley and couple others in the 90's. That worked out pretty good......

1. RBs have short windows.

2. Zeke is an absolute knucklehead.

3. He plays a position that is simple to replace.

I’m not for giving Zeke away but if a team were to offer a first rounder I’m all ears because we can draft a Zeke replacement.

Yes sir, the giant Mekong from the Mekong Basin in southern Asia. That fella nearly ended my time here, drug me down the river about 1 mile, I was exhausted to the point that I lost consciousness, and if not for my crew I would have surely died that day.

OMG MAN!!! VERY COOL STORY. Bet you won't ever forget that day,right.. LOVE seeing someone like you who truly loves fishing for those big ole hogs lol...When I was in my teens I would prolly go catfishing 3 to 4 days out of the week in or pond at the time...right after school...I would be fishing. Now I am much older, have health issues,so my stamina and so forth doesn't really allow me much time for it. Very cool story tho man.

:hammer:

It's what I keep saying. If we are truly SB contenders than we only have so long to do it. Can't do it if we keep rebuilding.

I never understand that train of thought. We draft players hoping they turn into studs.... but when they do, Studs also get paid.
Our draft picks turn into the stud we hoped for, and then people dont want to pay them and say let em walk?????? WTH
