not one of those predictions surprised me

my money's on Pollard for several reasons

- absolute prototype athlete for his role
- he fills a role vacant basically vacant for 2 years
- serious play speed - hits the hole fast and finds running lanes
- very hard to cover with a LB
- big play potential on every touch

if he can pass block, he'll get snaps and make big plays

The role has been vacant b/c they don't utilize it. Pollard could be Alvin Kamara and he'd still only get 3-4 touches a game. On offense, I think only Jarwin and Gallup have any chance of breaking out, but there are a bunch of guys on defense who could. I like Xavier Woods there.

Tangent, but I'm sick of hearing about Randall Cobb as some kind of gamebreaker. He hasn't been since 2015 and that was with Aaron Rodgers at QB. I'd be absolutely shocked if he does anything more than Cole Beasley.
