I think Moore is going to make a huge difference in this offense. I don’t buy that it’s just going to be a tweak here and a tweak there. Run schemes and passing routes are all well known in the NFL. It’s all about how well you disguise the players to keep the defense having to guess instead of knowing what the play is as was the case with Linehan. He’ll be willing to change on the fly once a defense gets a key on a play. He’s not just going to say “our talent will beat your talent”. I can’t wait to see this offense.

I certainly hope so, I would like nothing more for this offense than to have its talents unleashed. In any case the cement trucks will arrive soon and foundations start to go down on 27th. I'm hoping the new architect can build something that we're all proud of :flagwave:

Not expecting a miracle. Maybe a game time adjustment. Or Situational play calling. Spread it out. Change a few things up. That’s it:

That's not substantiated either. In fact, earlier this year, Garrett said he expected Linehan back. Then Jerry fired Linehan. Nowhere I've seen has said that he 1) wanted Linehan gone and 2) Wanted Moore promoted.

Anything we see we can only speculate on because Garrett is a company kind of man. He's not going to tell you what goes on behind closed doors. That's a good thing, but it makes it really hard to really know what he wants and doesn't want.

Wasn't there a thread here about it being said that Jerry told Moore that if Garrett gave him trouble, come to Jerry? That doesn't sound like a Garrett endorsement. That sounds more like Garrett not being too keen on the idea...unless that was Jerry doing his typical thing and trying to castrate his head coach from getting any credit.

Garrett said that at the end of the season before Linehan was fired and before they even started talking about coach turnover.

So why even make a statement at all if he was campaigning to get Linehan fired? It's simple, really. "We will not be discussing personnel decisions at this time. Next question." Again, there's no proof either way. You claimed Garrett wanted Linehan gone last year and you claimed he wanted Moore promoted.

The one who makes the claim is the one who needs to provide proof of said claim.

Garrett did want Linehan gone last year. I heard it from one of the insiders and I really don’t care if you believe it or not.

If he did it still does nothing to prove your first claim which is the one that was challenged.
