You and your hate agenda shows your hate in just about every post.
You are one of these that will never believe the proof in front of you. Too hard headed to see the truth.

And a QB does not have to have the natural given talent to take his team to a SB. He has to be good enough with his surrounding team. And at the least, that is what Dat seems to be.
I am not sold on him being a franchise QB, yet, but I can see that he can be.

We need an agenda zone for you and others.

Ya I guess take us out in the back and give us 20 lashes.
Then you guys talk about HATE....you live in it when your Dak is under the critic microscope!

Reality time....you cannot afford to surrond Dak with enough pieces if you give him a 30 million $$$$ a year contract!
Its the NFL it has a CAP either accept it or not bud but in the end reality will prevail!
Reality is Already prevailing. And has been for about 25 years. This is just a continuation or next chapter.

Not much is going to change if we don’t have the will power to force Jerry in curbing his ways. This is about as good as it gets.

20 lashes would not work, as I said you and others are too hard headed.

Everyone is allowed within the rules to target any aspect of Cowboys Football. Papdog target is Dakster. He’s been consistent. I’d prefer he targeted a bigger bulls eye but this is his schtick. It just limits the dialogue.

And there is a lot to target. I have done it myself. But also there is a lot to talk positive about too, in which I also do more so than being critical. Which I don't mind constructive criticism and the ones where it is a joke.
It is just the constant spew over and over and calling players names when it is not needed. But I will respond at times, and sometimes not.

I am not a Dak optimist. I think he is a good QB, just not anywhere near a great QB. He just leaves a lot to be desired in natural QB skills

However, he is very effective most of the time and makes up for a lot of his passing shortcomings with intangibles. If he just improves on the wide open deep misses it will be a huge improvement for the team.

He doesn't like Dak because he took over when both Moore and Romo went down with injuries. The thing is, Dak would have beat out Moore anyway.
and some don't like that.
If I was a huge Boise State fan, I would be elated that Moore became the OC, and then be proud he can make Dak into a great QB with his offensive play calling putting Dak into the right situations. But I guess that would be a slap in the face to some as then Dak would be getting credit as well.

So if Dak fails as the QB, then does Moore fail too?

Yea.. the trolling is obvious. It’s up to us to ignore. They’re just looking for attention. We shouldn’t feed it.

I’d agree there’s much to be critical about and applaud. I do some of both pending the results.

The red flag from these type of trolls is “ Never”. The ones who claim they’ll never win it is a clear signal as of course no one knows.

Despite Dak's generous number of critics, I believe he's still young enough and has the necessary work ethic to improve considerably. It took Romo more than a handful of years to reach his peak. No real reason why Dak shouldn't be able to do likewise, especially with the support he's likely to see in the upcoming seasons -- take heart, if it's in you to be fair. ;)

I watched the replay of week 14 Eagles at Cowboys game the other day. Wentz missed a lot of down field throws as Dak did, as many shorter passes too.
They even said, the announcers, that Wentz misses a lot and too many easy passes. Sound familiar?

However some people will not want to see this as it does not fit their agenda. As I said often, I am not 100% sold on Dak, but I can see where he is not horrible either as some want to lead others to believe.

I’ve been a critic as well but we’ve been pretty competitive with him. Is he enough? Who knows at this point. But we’ve seen similar and less QB’s when surrounded with enough support have success.

It took Russell Wilson a good 3 to 4 years to show what more he can do. But he had the best defense in the NFL, or a top 5 anyway, for years to help him.
I think Wilson grew over the years to help carry the team to some wins, but he also needs support around him, as all QB's do. Only a few can carry a team completely by themselves. Brady and Rodgers are the 2 best at it. It will be interesting to see Mahomes in his 2nd full year starting.

I will as I often said, will give Dak this year to decide. This is why I hoped his contract would not be addressed until next year.

It is what it is . He’s not as bad as some claim and not as great as others claim. As usual it’s somewhere in the middle.

I don't think Russell is a good comparison as he has great touch on the football. He is a natural thrower of the football. Dak is not, that is his biggest shortcoming IMO

3) Can Dak Raise His Game To Another Level?

Football season is finally approaching. After a long offseason, the Cowboys are set to depart for training camp on July 25. During this final month before they begin practice in Oxnard, Calif., the staff of DallasCowboys.com is going to preview the 20 biggest questions facing the Cowboys heading into 2019.)

FRISCO, Texas – Following the final minicamp practice of the offseason, Dak Prescott wore a Stetson hat at his locker as he brushed off questions about long-term contract discussions.

“It happens when it happens,” he said. “I’ve got a cowboy hat on, so I’m a Cowboy. Let’s say that.”

Indeed, it’s really just a matter of ‘when’ Prescott and the Cowboys reach an agreement on a lucrative extension. The front office has made clear he’s the franchise quarterback now and in the future. Only one NFL starter (Tom Brady) has won more games than Prescott since he joined the Cowboys as a fourth-round pick in 2016.

Sure he can, he has more than enough physical tools.

But he hasn't shown a ton of progression from day 1, that's concerning. And he (like most quarterbacks) needs to be in the right system to really be dynamic. JG's offense wouldn't be able to get the most out of any quarterback.
