Cowboys cut WR Hurns, who broke leg in playoffs

That's the headline on nfl.com

Trying to get more hate against the cowboys organization.

Media bias is disgusting.

Hurns was already very unlikely to return on a 6 million cap hit because of low production throughout the year after being given a starting role.
:muttley::facepalm:

Your “special helmet” obviously needs another layer of tinfoil, pal.

Congratulations you're trolling yourself.

 Yall complain about EVERYTHING
Don't see the issue. It's all facts
What’s not true there?
The truth is bias, now?

Jesus...........
Some fans just look for things to get offended about...

Had Hurns had a decent year, he would not have been released. It sounds like he has made a quick and near full recovery after that brutal injury.

His broken leg had nothing to do with his release, yet it is being made to appear that way because it will create more negative attention to the Cowboys as an organization.

I guarantee that a huge majority of fans and comments will be calling Dallas trash because of this move.

The fact is Hurns was released because he had a high cap hit relative to his production last year and there is depth at the position. Not because of a broken leg.

Did you read the article? It in no way insinuates he was released because of the injury.

Yeah, I did. But my point was the headline. There was no need to bring up breaking his leg in the playoffs.

And you're right, the article does not insinuate that his release because of his leg...so why have it in the headline?

Problem is a lot of people only read headlines.

The headline states two facts. That's it.

I mean I see what you are saying but you are off base and reaching. Both of those statements are factual. Hurns injury was pretty nasty. We just didn't feel the need to keep him on the 53 this season coming up. Happens all the time with every single time.

They wanted him to take a pay cut. He didn’t want to and wanted to check the market.

I agree he was released because of the cap hit. But I still don't see the issue with the headline. I see or understand why you are thinking the way you are but I just don't see it as a big deal.
