Make sure you look him right in the eyes when you apologize:

I blame him completely and I hope Jerry finds the will to fine him to the fullest extent for every day he misses. I doubt that will happen but I would be in favor of it. Letting this guy act in such a manner doesn't serve the team goals, doesn't serve Elliott personally, doesn't serve the League as a whole and it Certainly doesn't serve the Fan Base.

Oh well, next man up!

Start the fines.
I still think he will show up by the 6th of August.
Unless he is pretty sure he will get a new deal, unlike Bell in Steeler land. I doubt that accrued year toward FA doesn’t matter if he is confident he will stay in Dallas.

I am for Zeke getting paid, but also honor your contract while you continue to negotiate.

It’s a tricky one, because the team has absolutely no incentive to honor their side of the contract, and never take the same heat players do when they cut them.

$3,853,137 this year
$9,099,000 next year

Thats not enough cheddar? hes under contract on a huge rookie deal. Dallas gave him 16.8 million his rookie year. And has defended his dumb actions relentlessly. Time for him to shut up and play football.
we will see who folds first but Zeke deserves the pay bump.

"Enough" doesn't matter.

He is wildly underpaid. He could make both of those salaries, per year, and still be underpaid.

I will never apologize for doubting Florio.

He will be there by August 6th.

I don't quite understand any form of "holding out" at this point though. You are well paid already, the team has stood by you through your various legal troubles including one that was just recently resolved. The timing just seems off.

It's never enough. Just like every starting QB now wants to be the highest paid in the league when their contract is up.

That's just not how it works in the NFL.
