Pay everybody, deal with the problems 2 years from now. Super Bowl windows don't happen all the time.

Ok big bucks time who do you pay prior to kick-off Zeke or Dak?

Seems there just might not be enough cap $$$$ to sign both at the monies there looking for esp with Coop in the mix and Byron and Jaylon bringing up the rear as one might say.
So who would you choose between #4 or # 21......
The CB and the LB you have to let go imo, just not enough to pay everyone with Dak, Zeke and Coop eventually getting their $.

I say pay "Tim Tebow", he's a leader and the players like him and he's a winner. His throws are not pretty but ...........

I’m not sure the risk factor on whether or not you can find a good QB in the draft is as much of a factor as it used to be. QBs are busting far less often and seeing NFL success earlier in their careers. This is because the college and NFL games aren’t as different as they used to be...the NFL is using college offensive concepts more and more. There is less of a transition. The NFL rules favoring offenses more and more is another reason.

Just some food for thought
Out of the last class, only one has considered to have made it, after one year. Another has already been traded to a team that said that did not preclude them from taking another in this next draft.

The biggest stumbling block for QB's is the upgrade in defenses they face and some exotic calls made by the best DC's in the game. The turnover in coaching isn't helping but if not for that, Goff gets the bust label. Wentz has been the walking wounded and let's not forget that this FOO wanted to trade up for Lynch and was going to take Cook before they got jumped by a team that cut him.

mc, you've got the risk factor that is still a formidable obstacle for any team taking a QB but add the FO of this team and the word QB and you've got trouble in River City. And I don't want to hear about the marvelous qualities of McClay, he was there when they tried for Lynch.

Under the Joneses, the Cowboys get a serviceable QB, stay with him. The presence of those two just exacerbates the risks of picking that position in the draft.

This isn't either or you pay both of them including Cooper. Dallas is in good shape with the cap, and with the new CBA on the horizon, and the potential new TV deals including Sunday ticket, I see no reason why the cap doesn't jump up a lot with the new CBA, IMO.

Pay neither, trade Zeke for a #1 to the team that can get you the highest draft position and go for Trevor Lawrence!

You pay everyone but Dak. You keep this roster strong and you let Dak play out his contract and franchise him next year. That gives Dak 2 more years of a solid stacked roster to try an win a SB. If he doesnt get it in 2 seasons move on and draft another young QB that and ha e him on a rookie contract for 4 more years and he gets to reap the rewards of a stacked roster.

I don't think that choice has to be made. The team likely can find a way to make it work with both.

A team that hasn't played in a conference championship game in over 20 years hasn't opened any windows. It's just hope, which a lot of fan bases have this time of year.

You know who has a window? New England. They've won Super Bowls with Brady and he's getting near the end of the line. I'd argue the Saints and Brees, on a lesser scale. Maybe even Pittsburgh and Green Bay.

Dallas hasn't had a window since the late 90s.
