You saw Cabo in the title and thought accidental?:lmao2:
nah. I was referring to some of the posts that, completely expected, would mention Romo sarcastically, supposedly ‘coincidentally’, or even likely self-defended as accidentally not meant as a shot at Romo. They always are every time the word Cabo is typed and posted on the forum.

Strangely enough, I am curious how some, who both like Elliott and dislike Romo, are able to self-rationalize both men took trips to the same locale. Probably the timing of the two respective trips will put Elliott in a ‘good light’ while keeping Romo firmly on the personal ‘naughty list’. lol

To be totally honest, I'll have to admit that this thing with Zeke has really taken the wind out of my sails to a degree. It's just a bad time for the team that he would choose to distance himself from them when it's so crucial to get familiarized with the changes that Kellen Moore is trying to establish.

Here's hoping he'll choose to respect that need and places more responsibility on himself for being attentive to it. Seems to me that his carrying on an extended holdout could have a devastating effect on a team that's at a crossroad to prove itself more competitive. I wonder how many others here share my dismay with regards to this thing. Here's hoping he'll wisely return in time to prevent the damage that might ensue if he doesn't.

:hammer:I have no room for selfish players in the Floaty van to the Super Bowl...

What does that have to do with him going there last year and training? Which he did. Troll away dude.

Just goes to show he's a jerkoff...and he's capable of anything. It's his track record. And why we continue to put up w/ it is beyond me.

You would think watching a guy party his *** off...and not caring about his team would hit home w/ Jerry. If the death of Jerry Brown didn't sober Jerry up to the consequences of someone not taking their job seriously..I don't think anything will.

I know I wouldn't put up w/ it. I don't care how important the player was. You gotta draw a line @ some point.

Yet here we are...enabling...yet another player....allowing him to drag the ship down.

And yet his mind is on money....not football. Dude has his priorites all in a mess.

It is what it is. Hes trying to secure his future. Who are you to question his dedication to this team. IM not saying i agree with what hes doing. But he's doing the right thing for his future. The same thing Aaron Donald did.

Every year that goes by, the gap widens. The gap, that is, for my preference of college football over the NFL. It's happening again.

The weird thing is I barely cared at all about college football in the 70s - it was all about the Cowboys. The business of pro football has obviously changed, and while it's been great for the players it's been less so for the fans.

I liked it in the old days when players stayed on the team that drafted them forever.

You mean, back before that faithful '93/'94 CBA, when I foresaw how player movement would become almost as fluid as water, and I used to rant-and-rave like a maniac for years until this forum finally settled me down about the current salary cap era around 2009?

Yeah. I liked those times too.
