(sigh) As Warned.. the team absolutely must have a definite Plan B when dealing with Sean Lee and his scary durability issue - how ready and capable are the reserve backups ? - ala Joe Thomas, Chris Covington, ... (Luke Gifford ?)

That's why I said at the end of last year it was time to cut & run reduction in salary or not, I would like to have 53 Sean Lee's on my team with the heart that he has but his body just not holding up ! At this point he's taken up to valuable of a roster spot keep him on board he has a good heart good football knowledge but his playing days are behind him when I heard he was going to be on special teams I just cringed it's time for him to realize it's over I know it must be tough the Cowboys have to move on from him

Probably not far from the truth...sadly...we saw how that backfired in the playoffs last year. Lee was horrible vs the Rams....Put LVE on the bench...and the Rams had a hey day running the football. Been saying it all off season...I'm worried about our LBer depth. Losing Damien Wilson is gonna hurt more than people expect.

Sean. You should’ve stayed in Cali instead of flying back to Dallas to fly out with the team. Obviously the extra walking through terminals caused wear and tear, and now the knee gave out.

I was just thinking “thank god this wasn’t 5 years ago”. It still sucks regardless, I love Lee, one of my favorite players but his time is about up and thankfully we’ve addressed his absence. I would love to see him stick around as a coach.
