Do you think Elliott may want to be traded?

Hasn't anyone stopped to consider that Elliott may simply want out?

This holdout is obviously poorly considered on the face of it. No doubt Elliott and his representation saw what happened to Bell.

It strikes me that Elliott may simply be doing this to burn bridges and get himself traded to a team where he might feel he is more likely to win.

Random thought for the day. People crucified the guy who suggested a trade to Kansas City might be a good idea, but if I'm Elliott that is precisely what I want and I do think that it would be a trade that would help all parties.

I've kind of got that vibe from him for the last 2 years....He doesn't want that bullseye on him 24/7. He doesn't want to be that focal point...teams prepare to stop. He may be tired of being in the spotlight...and the stage is getting too big for him.

Still....every problem he has...is his own doing. He is his own worst enemy.

yes, he just might

380 touches, only 9 TDs in a NFL season ... no SB
even the most competitive player has to rethink that

I'd point out ownership may be rethinking it too

whatever either side says in public

Whatever, he wants to get paid before Jerry or any other GM tells him he is too used up for a fat contract, which should be in about two years given his work load.

He and his family have been life long cowboy fans.
This is all about getting a new deal just like Donald and Gurley did. Dallas just has 2 players who are in final yr deals who need to be paid first. Once they are paid, Elliot will be paid. First Dallas needs to get a deal with Dak done because thats the biggest deal that will be on this team. And both sides are waiting for this Saints WR deal to get done so they can see where the new market is. Fans overthink and have too much time on their hands.

So Zeke doesn't want to play with a stacked tteam. Only cares about collecting his next big paycheck on some other team, and he won't get the so called tv ratings as a team would playing for Dallas.

Fingers crosses the title is right. In reality it’s not, we’ll be babysitting this knucklehead for another half decade at least.

Could you imagine Ezekiel Elliot with 375 carries for 1713 yards and 13 TDs as a Green Bay Packer?

Or helping the Miami Dolphins to a surprise 11-5 record?

Or how about Zeke proving Jon Gruden’s still got it on his way to becoming the only HC to win a Super Bowl in both Conferences?

None of these scenarios are worth getting draft picks for. Especially if it means the Alfred Morris show for 16 games.
