Posters on this site possess the powers of transmogrification. Under normal circumstances we are experts in football. In April we become draft experts. When the issue is medical, we become doctors. Just last year many went on at length about the severity on freddy's "stinger". When the diagnosis became gbs, the boards became full of experts on the syndrome. The infamous dak dog bite incident had many proclaiming he would be suspended. And so it goes. Best to just wait and see how this plays out.

This is the most stupid....isn't that what insurance is for and Im certain Zeke had some. Its a money Grab...a stupid one. Trying to prove a cover up when he didnt seek medical attention and most likely got his car fixed by Zeke's insurance. Let me go to work. NEXT.

If it was a top end Merc, you ding up some of the cpus in the hood and that could run in the 10’s of thousands. Zeke probably drives in style.
Article said Zeke was driving a Yukon and hit s BMW. Don’t really have to guess what it was lol. Yes a BMW 750 is expensive.

Crazy idea.

How about Zeke stop doing stupid crap off the field?

I know, it’s nuts to suggest that.
If a car accident is stupid we're all in trouble. Did he run the light? He should be held accountable if he did, but the accuser seems suspect.

So this story showed up in the Buffalo, NY paper this morning. The issue is that given the accident there may have been some consideration to put him on concussion protocol and this was just before the playoff game. So there is a possibility that the Cowboys hid it from the league so that Zeke's availability was not compromised.
Irrespective, the guy gets into trouble, the Cowboys bail him out and then he holds out. I am at the point that I say okay enough is enough, we may need to move on this guy and the best possibility is to trade him to shore up other areas of the team. What did New England have at running back this last year?

I’m always puzzled when I see posts like this. I’m at a loss for how a fan forum would work if posters couldn’t opine on the biggest issues regarding the team at any given point in time.

If it was $33k in damage that is not a fender bender. A lot of cars on the road aren't even worth that much.

Doubt he would have been suspended for this since it doesn't seem like he was impaired but Zeke's new nickname should be "Can't get right".

The claim is $33k for the car because the insurance company totaled the vehicle.

Not going to happen, what's the fun in that?

If we didn't have Elliott absolutely didn't hit her, Goodell is after Elliott, that girl wanted her shirt pulled down, that guard called him the N word, this guy who got hit by a car running a red light is after the money grab, etc etc because he wears the uni, what would we talk about? The quickest path to innocence on this board is to get yourself a Cowboys uni.

People get in car accidents. That doesn't make them more or less prone to stupid crap.

Did not know how much but todays cars don't take much to get that much compared to cars made in the 70's. I had someone run into me and the cost of my car, I was like really?.

Its not that the damage back then was less. Its that it was made to be taken apart and repaired if needed. The wrecks were actually worse by far from then. The difference is all electronics and parts crammed in which is not meant to be fixed and .... The cars are meant to crumple up for safety concerns. If you saw the picture I posted of my own accident, it does not look tooo bad... but part of the frame was bent, axle, tranny since its was all wheel drive. Then in engine bay ABS system hit, HVAC system and some misc wires. My Axle/wheel engine took the brunt of hit .... might be same for BMW

If insurance did not cover all of the expenses, then Zeke can and should be sued. Not to the tune of 20 Mil but the guy that is on losing end should be at least made whole again. Zeke aint that smart .... you think he understands insurance policies and what to buy? Zeke is an Esurance type guy because he could buy from his phone and just goes through the motion. Id also wait to rush judgment for either side, granted the 20 mil is an attention/media grab which is assinine. But 2 years in waiting is the correct time if the guy is really hurt. You cant tell how serious someone's injuries are in a couple of months. You go through trial and error with treatments and Docs. It builds a stronger case when going to court. Insurance companies would rather payout quick and cheap to save money.

Agree, and also cars in the 70's were made of steel compared to fiberglass.
