Yep, Another year with Zeke and another distraction. I hope they stick to the fines to that greedy b@****. He needs to be on the field learning the new offense. This immature clownish crap has me pissed. I wished the dang players wanted to play. Is that too much to ask? Draw the line in the sand and "say when". Zeke will cave in first, The clown will be suspended for doing dumb crap in Cabo, He has already shown he can't control himself being rich.

I am excited about the new OC and this crap happens. I hope someone kicks sand into Zeke's Piña colada. The man has two lawsuits against him, been suspended and has made more money than the dang starting QB. It is easy to tell who is a good teammate. I would back the Brinks truck up and pay the good teammates first. Jones, Brown, Cooper, Dak and everyone else that want to win. I would pay everyone except Zeke.

Spoiled millennial, I wished he had to work like I have for the past 50 years. He has more dang money now than he can ever spend. He should have to work like us common folk.
I thought this post was sattire. If not, it might be one of the most pathetic posts I have ever read on this board.

Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones made that much clear Wednesday when discussing pending extensions for running back Ezekiel Elliott, quarterback Dak Prescott and receiver Amari Cooperon 96.7 KTCK The Ticket (h/t USA Today's Jori Epstein):

"We've got three really good football players that we're dealing with here and that have very good representation. And they want to see the market. We can't push the issue unless we want to be a market-setter. And we're damn sure not going to be a market-setter.”

"We want to be fair. We want our players to feel good about their contract. But at the same time, we don't want to do things that are out of line because we can't afford to be that way."

Dak lovers please step away from the edge of the cliff!!!

the big caveat here...its likely an overzealous agent, not the player holding the team hostage. While I cant argue with some of the points u made, I suspect its not all on the player. STAY TUNED.

This front office will always find an excuse not to pay people who make the team better.

Stephen, in particular, is ridiculously cheap for a rich guy. It's why we take a pass every free agency. It's why we turn to guys like Joseph Randle and Jeff Heath as starters.

He’s not a millennial... most millennials are in their late 20s-early 40s... he’s gen z or the IGen the generation that had grown up with smart phones

Cowboys philosophy on FAs now? What would the Patriots do?

Between Dak, Zeke and Cooper .. only 2 will be on our team next year. Zeke is gone imo.

Ridiculously cheap for a rich guy? So please shed some light on how you would set the market or near tops in the market with 3 players and then be able to surround those 3 with any talent?

It was nice seeing the Cowboys as the number 1 franchise with guys in the top 100 players for whatever that is worth. But those guys need to be paid because of the perception of their talent level. The Cowboys will always and have always been near the salary cap max. They would pay more if they could. It has become a fine balancing act with the talent and how you spread the money around the team to achieve maximum output on the field. They have a lot of young talent which creates some unique challenges for them now and into the future. No one is taking home team discounts.

They’re all gonna get paid and be here. It’s basically what they will be paid and works for all parties.

Its totally not cool from Stephen . He already said one thing .
Well it doesn't matter what is cool or not LOL.
The thing is if your negotiating with someone, and they piss you off, most people are going to then change their mind on how to
negotiate from there on out.

The salary cap is fixed and we will use 100% of it (long term).

Early 40’s? That’s born in the 70’s and not a millennial.
