Of course it’s him. I am sure his agent advised him and has a plan to pressure the FO to strike now and get paid while then have cap room. They will have more room next year and that’s likely while they want to wait till then.

Like D-Law agent telling him to hold off on his surgery. Now we are hearing that D-Law is wishing he had surgery earlier. I am sure it’s “killing D-Law” not to be out there on the field. Lol. Please.

Agree with you but in the flip side at least Elliot will show up in November/December when D Law (you know our War Daddy) does his usual disappearing act

Gary Brown is not much of an RB's coach and should have been fired a long time ago. He's been riding the coattails of Demarco Murray and Ezekiel Elliott ever since he got here in 2013. Firing Brown would go a long way in getting Zeke's attention on how upset the Jones boys are about Zeke's betrayal. If there are communications going on between Zeke and the Cowboys FO, it needs to stop with Zeke being told to come to camp. Entertaining Zeke's immature demands only encourages him to continue holding out. The Cowboys need to make a public statement that will get to Zeke that conveys to him holding out will not result in anything that benefits him. He is under contract for two more seasons and continuing to hold out will not get him any closer to free agency. Continuing his hold out will only mean he is effectively out of football. Period.
That would be a very effective message sent to the hold outs camp, by terminating Zeke's position coach:lmao2:

* nothing conveys the message of "compliance" like a severed head on a stick

It's not killing him. He's sitting on the beach with a beer in his hand, which is what Zeke lives for.
I'd say that sounds great, but I don't want a flesh-eating disease and I don't go to places where there are things that can and would eat me, given the opportunity.

Brown on Zeke: “It’s Killing Him Not To Be Here”

OXNARD, Calif. – A full week into training camp, the biggest story remains the absence of Ezekiel Elliott, who is reportedly in Cabo during his contract holdout.

Running backs coach Gary Brown said he has been in contact with Zeke since the start of camp.

Coach, you can say you wish Zeke were in camp.

But you don't need the hyperbole or the self-serving (to Zeke) comments.

Jerry needs to muzzle you, who are not involved with contracts, only coaching.

He will rot on the vine and cave..

You read it here...

Come back on your knees, Zeke... Keep your nose clean this season, ball out, and we’ll negotiate next year...

Agreed with first part but second part is..your still getting traded on draft night. Zero chance Dallas can make any of the following highest paid at their position: Zeke, Dak, Cooper, Jaylon Smith and Byron Jones.
