He was just cleared to practice on July 29th.

Thanks for that. He better get on the ball because I don't think there's going to be to be much room on the roster for a developmental prospect. I know he's fairly new to the linebacker position but he'll need to show up, particularly on special teams, to get that sixth spot.

Sometimes I wonder if people have just blocked out mentally how inept we've been as a franchise for much of the last two decades. Our "run" over that period is comparable to what we've seen from dregs like the Dolphins and Bengals and not even within spitting distance of teams like the Steelers and Packers and even the Eagles.

Like I said above I’m not holding these players responsible for the fact Romo couldn’t win a playoff game most of his career or because the team was poorly ran in the 2000s. Whole new team and front office. Not saying they deserve praise for the past 3 years but when I judge them it’s going good to be on the past three years not the last 20.

I don't care how old the guy is. It's a kicker. Just kick the ball through the uprights. I'd sign him for nothing else than to give Maher some legit competition. It's not like Maher is some "rookie with upside", he's a veteran who is likely as good (or bad) as he's going to get.

No can do. Bryant would want a decent salary, not the dirt wages Maher is getting.

I don't know if it was all week, but he was definitely in at least 1 of the training camp live videos that I saw.
