The only thing Robert Quinn did wrong was sign with the Cowboys. We all know wearing the star makes you a target. The NFL has to help the Giants out to start the season. Goodell & Mara at it again!

When will these guys learn you can’t outsmart the system. If it was seizure meds you have to check, check and check again if it will somehow come up as a drug not allowed by NFL.

Meanwhile, I'm waiting for the NFL's banned substance list to move into the 21st century.

It appears he did nothing wrong. The seizure meds are not what tripped the failed test.

Read the statement from his agent. It's interesting.

He takes medication for seizures. His attorneys had the local pharmacy pull records and it turns out that right before they pulled Quinn's prescription, the pharmacy pulled the drug that triggered the failed test. They think when they mixed the medication, it's possible some of the residue got on Quinn's medicine and caused the failed test.

Ever notice everybody who gets busted has an elaborate excuse?

The more I read, the more it's clear he got railroaded by the NFL here. He tested positive for a masking agent, not a PED.

The levels in his system were way low and in order for the drug to be an effective masking agent for PEDs, it would have had to have been much, much higher. Quinn's team was able to provide expert testimony, apparently, that backed up this claim as well as the records from the pharmacy that shows the pharmacy filled the masking agent prescription for another customer immediately prior to pulling Quinn's seizure medication.

The attorney also ripped the league's attorney as well in the statement.

What a joke the NFL has become when it comes to this stuff. This is a situation were maybe they should take into account the history of the player here and give him the benefit of the doubt since Quinn, to my knowledge, has never failed a test before in his career.

Lots of braindead people involved in this.

His health is irrelevant unless we IR him.

Interesting, so even if he isn't healthy and we planned to make him inactive for those first two games because his hand wasn't ready, it would count as suspension time served?

Thanks.

Read the statement.

The pharmacy likely contaminated his pills with another order filled that day. Nothing in his meds that would trigger a positive
