Questions going into Pre Season Week 2

1) Why does the FO take such a crazy approach to things like backup quarterbacks? Who’s out there that would provide an immediate backup upgrade?

2) How long until the Maher experiment is over? When will they sign some competition?

3) Same as week one, do any of the contracts get done this week?

Things like the Backup QB and the kicker situation really make me question the football intelligence of the leadership. Either that, or they are just proving a point that they don’t care what everyone thinks and they want you to know it.

Who do you think we have at QB Tom Brady?
Rush is just fine as a back up to Dak not really a huge spread between the two.

You can't be serious about Rush. There is no way you really think Rush could do anything if he had to start.

Scares you huh? Scared Dak who even starts in meaningless games....like the Philly game where he managed to score 6 points against Philly 3rd stringers.

What are you even talking about? Rush is terrible, you can't deny that. What scares me is if Dak gets hurt we have not a single QB on the roster that will win games for us. Will be 15 all over again. Rush couldn't even throw accurate when he had a clean pocket and against 2nd and 3rd string defense. What makes you think he will throw accurate with number 1 starting defense out there. He would have had at least 3 picks if the starters were out there. You're a joke and a fool if you actually think Rush is anywhere close to Dak.

Only the DAK-Dead are listening Micheal.....we have eyes and know a good to great QB when we see one.
And unfortunately for us Dak does not fall in the above categories!
Put Rush in with our 1st team and you just be surprised there Mr. Irvin.....I mean what do we have to lose for our passing game really now??LOL..... :muttley:

Rush looked a lot like he did two years ago. This year, he had no running back, dubious wide receiver talent, a leaky oline, and proved he's #2

Hey guys, something to ponder here. Dak's cap hit in 2019 in 2.1 million dollars. What hired gun can you hire to replace rush for under 2 million a year? You just can't have the Back Up Qb making more than Dak

Maher is going to give people heart attacks not sure what is out there and any are better but need to kick some tires.

I’d love to have a better backup at QB but at this point who is out there and they would be way behind on learning the offense. The last few years the Cowboys have played Dak in meaningless games when they should of been taking a look at their backups.
