What else can he say on the matter? I'm sure whoever is speaking on Zeke's behalf is being as secretive as can be due to the on going negotions. All that was said was that this should not be interpreted as a sign that a deal is near

You can say what you want about the teams we beat in 2017 without Zeke but 2 of those teams we played when we had Zeke. Did you not give them credit for those Ws when they had Zeke? Or is it since we didn't have Zeke they suck and it wasn't that impressive? With Zeke we beat the giants 19-3. Without 30-10. With Zeke we beat the skins 33-19, without 38-14.

One day people will see this team is built around the ol and the running game, not the ol and a specific rb and damn sure not just the RB

I'm saying by the time we played those teams a second time they were mailing it in. And if you think Amari was what made all the difference last year you'd be selling the defense WAY short.

I put the start to last season more on Zeke not being able to overcome Dak. Defenses decided they were going to make Dak beat them. And it will always get worse not better when you replace him with an average RB.

Lol if you want say the giants were mailing it in, that fine. But the skins were 5-6 at the time and we were 5-6. Were we mailing it in? They were 3-3 when we played them with Zeke.

As far as the defense, I give them credit but we were still 3-4 with that defense before Cooper came. During the 3-4 with Zeke and the ol that wasnt healthy they gave up 17.5 ppg. During the 7-2 with Cooper they gave up 22.3. If they didn't play as well as the did the 1st 7 games we would have been worst than 3-4.

Is Morris a avg back? With healthy OL they went 3-1 with him. Oh yeah, i forgot, that was against bad teams so those games don't count. Can I do the same? Can I take away wins when Zeke played vs bad team's? Can I take away the niner win that year with Zeke since they were 6-10 that year and 0-6 when we played them? Let me repeat that, they were 0-6 when we played them. How about the last game vs the eagles? Can I take that win away since they already had home field advantage and rested a lot of their starters and played Foles for a half before pulling him? I mean, with Zeke they kicked our *** with a team that wasn't resting their starters so I should be able to discount that win since they were "mailing it in".

Yeah obviously you don't understand the difference in a win vs a bottom 5 team vs a top 5. The Skins were playing 3rd and 4th string lineman that game. It was clear they were never going to stand a chance in that game.

And I guess you don't allow for in season improvement for anyone but the QB because that's what happened last year. Jaylon and LVE improved every single game last year. Kris Richard was a new secondary coach and they improved throughout the season.

And you can still take away whatever wins you want and the Cowboys will still be a much better team with him than without. I'm not even sure how you feel like you can mount that argument. Just use your eyes instead of raw numbers with zero context whatsoever.
