Pollard is a huge liability with his blocking. He also isn’t the physical presence that Zeke is.
From the old Deion commercial. “I’ll take both boss.”
Zeke and Pollard together would be dynamic!

Having Fred back and Cobb won’t change it that much.

Is this a joke? How will getting the leader of the o-line and best center in football back not change things that much? Do people really not understand what he does for this line? Whatever you're smoking pass it this way please.

What’s a joke is thinking getting Fred back will catapult a below average offense to first in the league. I said he would make a difference but not THAT MUCH of a difference.

Can’t smoke until I retire, you’ll have to wait about another 15 years and I’ll be more than happy to share.

The interior o-line struggled badly the first half of last season but got better the 2nd half.

Frederick back plus Williams putting on weight will make a huge difference the 1st half of the season and a decent difference the 2nd half in comparison to last season

Pollard has done nothing in a nfl game

Zeke is the best running back in football

We need zeke pollard should spell him and we can easily rush for 2000

Could it be that Zeke’s success has something to do with the league’s best, and most expensive, offensive line?

It has been proved again and again. You win in this league with your offensive and defensive lines. Overpaying players at the running back position is a cardinal sin.

You sign Zeke and say goodbye to a Jaylon Smith, Maleik Collins and Byron Jones. And those players are much more difficult to replace.

Zeke? All you have to do is look at the undrafted free agent running backs in this league with 1000+ yards to see that he’s replaceable. Or, better yet, look at the Cowboys’ 4th round pick.

Would prefer to see Zeke and Pollard both on the team if I had my way. As a tandem they'd be fun to watch.

On another note, Zeke has missed all of training camp and hasn't worked on getting better with the team, so **** that guy. Offload him if it comes down to it for all I care.

Who’s better?

Saquon?
Zeke averaged more yards per game rushing and overall(rushing/receiving) over a larger sample size.

Same with McCaffrey and Kamara.
It's not just about yardage. How many times does Elliot put the ball in the ground even though we get them back. He couldn't take it to the house last season overweight slow. Slipped over his own ego on the goal line. Nope he's not even close to being the best until he cleans up this knucklehead attitude

Do you remember Elliott in his first season and his blocking skills I give you half of a like

I like Pollard but he is no Zeke. Also the missed block yesterday that got Dak sacked was a bad play.

i'd like to sign zeke, but not at any cost. I wouldn't play pollard again in the preseason. too valuable to risk injury. i'd like to see weber play with the first team. jackson and chunn have looked better than morris, imo.

I'd like to have Zeke back, but not if the rumors of him wanting close to QB money are true.

I agree but I don’t think just their presence will be the only reason this offense goes from where it was to best in the league. Even clicking on all cylinders I don’t think it will be best in the league.....but better, yes.

For the record (again) I think Zeke is a great player. His maturity level and this holdout though have turned me into a seller of Zeke. That said I wish there was no cap and they could sign him. Unfortunately there is a cap and the 2020 off season is going to be loaded with others that need to be signed. RBs do not equal championships!

After watching Pollard last night has your opinion of the Zeke situation changed at all?

Also please don’t beat up on Morris. The Cowboys OL backups suck. They really, really suck.

Thanks in advance for your opinions.
He should excel vs the rams second team unit out there. Pollards talent isn’t even on the same reservation as Zeke.

Funny. I understand it was the Rams second stringers but Pollard pretty much did everything we would want him to do, and some, under the circumstances. I don’t recall people diminishing Zeke’s games against some of the worst rushing defenses in the league nor do I recall people talking trash about Zeke when he had bad games...it was always the O lines fault.

Also remember that we didn’t have all our offensive starters either.

But the RB position isn’t always about talent and more to do with volume.

We don’t need the most talented RB in the league to get great production. We’ve already proven that with our 3rd round RB in Demarco Murray.

Pollard had 45 yards on 5 carries. Just give these guys the rock and they’ll produce.

Other teams figured this out a long time ago.

Pollard looked fantastic. Makes me feel better about the depth. But considering that was the No. 2 Rams unit, I think it’s important not to get carried away.

I’m still a firm believer this team is a title contender with Zeke on the field. Without? Have huge doubts.

And no other RB looked good. And it doesn't look like we have any depth behind him. Morris is done.

My opinion has not changed.

I’d resign Zeke but if a team comes offering a haul of draft picks for him that includes a first rounder then I’d trade him.
Well there's no worries there. Zeke will not garner a 1st rounder, much less 1st rounder +.

Pollard is what he showed he was in college so far. Zeke is the best RB in the NFL. The combination of the 2 could make us very explosive offensively as far as scoring points. The Rams game only confirmed my thoughts on the duo.
