JG nor anyone in the organization has claimed "The Process"
JG nor anyone in the organization has claimed "The Process"
That is validation enough for me
I don't even know what in the world you're talking about. Every news conference for years all I heard was JG talk about the process. This conversation is stupid. But continue on. lolThat is validation enough for me
There's about 300 high school coaches in Texas that would be better. You guys trust Jerry to hire a better HC?
Gimme some of what Walter White gave you.JG wins his first of many SBs this season

Zeke is due $12M over the next 2 seasons. He's already getting paid. Do not give him a new contract yet. Pollard is doing a great job of running the ball so I see no incentive to give in to Zeke's demands. Yes, pay Dak and Amari if an amount can ever be agreed on. Too early in the season to fire Garrett.Pay Dak, Zeke, and Amari. Fire Garrett.
Many many Super Bowl championships await those four decisions.

It's "A Process" could apply to any process. Even The Process.JG nor anyone in the organization has claimed "The Process"
Paying a first round pick for a year and a half of production is that contract should've been done as soon as the trade was. Going back to wr by committee after it's what caused the trade isJust my opinion..I'm not wrong or right. I'm just thinking of this as a smart business model
1) Stay firm on your price for Dak AND Amari. Don't go over. For Dak, I'm going 33 million a year. For Amari, I'm going 16.5 million a year. Guaranteed money is what is hurting Dak, I think Wentz has 107.9 million guaranteed. I'd go $95 million guaranteed for Dak. For Amari, $55 million guaranteed. Be willing to Franchise Dak and make him earn it. I don't agree with Dallas giving up a 1 for Amari. I'd be willing to let him walk, Sign two WRs for the price of Amari.
2) Pay Zeke. He is the straw that stirs the drink. He is young and is capable of 4-5 good years. Guaranteed money is what is hurting Zeke. Gurley is #1 with 45 million guaranteed. #2 is David Johnson with 31.8 million guaranteed. That's a huge difference!!! Bell got 27 million. For Zeke, 40 million guaranteed, 14.5-15 million a year.
3) Let Byron walk. You can't sign everybody. I like the depth at DB. Might be the deepest position. Hopefully sign Brown for cheap too.
4) See how Tyron and Travis play this year. If Travis has a solid year, trade him. If Tyron starts to fall off a bit, pay cut-same for Travis too.Too much money tied up into the offensive line. Backup OT makes almost 4 million a year. I don't think you need three All-Pros to have a solid line. Look at New England, Indy, and KC. They might have one at best. Paying Zeke top dollar to me means that you can't pay the offensive line all this money too...
5) Would be HUGE if Jaylon Smith takes a hometown discount-like we are hearing he may.
6) Just see how Garrett does this year. He's on a short leash I agree, you can't set a standard for him. Let's say Dallas says "Okay Jason, get us to the NFC Championship game and you get an extension!" What if Dallas loses 41-0 in the NFC Championship game? He shouldn't be safe!!
This is a good problem to have, but you can't mess it up. You can't give everyone top dollar. I think Dallas will end up keeping Dak, Zeke, Amari, and Jaylon. Depending on what happens with Dak/Amari they could franchise Byron, but I don't think he will be around much longer.
Oh the contract for sure should have been done. No, I'm not saying WR by committee. Give me Gallup, Cobb, and a guy for around 9-12 million a year. Dallas had TERRIBLE WRs last year.Paying a first round pick for a year and a half of production is that contract should've been done as soon as the trade was. Going back to wr by committee after it's what caused the trade is
true. rams had to let a couple of really good players go this year because of the aaron Donald signing.
I could see Dallas trading Tank after a few years. I did not like the contract one bit.The Tank contract is probably going to be rued around here eventually. We have the room to do it, but there are players that are going to walk in part because of that signing, and he is going to have to perform at a top 3 level to justify that signing. The smart money is going to be betting he doesn’t perform at a top 3 level, because he has never been a top 3 player.
This smells a lot like the Dez contract except Tank is probably less of a head case than Dez.
Obviously they can'tIf they could win with Switzer, they can win with Garrett.

Yup. And sign a WR (9-12 million a year guy) to go with Gallup and maybe Cobb. I want Amari but only for the right price. Same goes for Dak.We are going to most likely get a 3rd round comp pick back for Amari as salvage value no matter what. So the team has some risk, but we are getting a cheap 2 year rental for the player (in his prime) plus a 3rd round pick back, no matter what happens.
As good as the FO has drafted in the first it's still a significant loss. Not saying this year's pick would've been a hit if they had one but I'm sure you get what what I mean.We are going to most likely get a 3rd round comp pick back for Amari as salvage value no matter what.
