2 start for Ward in 2018.

He is not listed as a starter on their current depth chart.

Well four I believe (Playoffs). He is one of the reasons they benched older guys like Scandrick.

He’s going to be a solid piece for them. They are listed that way since Fuller and Breeland (two former Skins ironically) are the starters. He plays when they go nickel or dime.

Hopefully we don’t get hosed like we did last season.

Ward for Ehringer.

A guy who didn’t play a regular season game for a starting CB

Pollard is going to do what Duke does and some

I forgot about Ward. I remember he looked great in training camp last year. Too bad we got rid of him. Definitely a mistake.

He did. Simply a numbers game. You don’t always win in trades which stinks!

Just wish the trade worked in our favor more!

I would think our best trade asset would be Looney. But do you want to trade Looney? Filo yes, but what could get for him.

On the DL, Charlton is probably starting the first 2 weeks so I doubt they will dangle him.

you trade looney and then you don't have a backup center. McGovern has been MIA with that pectoral strain which they are going to be even over cautious with
so its a possibility McGov could be either PUP or short term IR. So since he is out of the picture, that places the experience Looney as your only
valuable backup center.
Filo doesn't really have true ' trade' value since he is an average player, but injuries to martin, mcGovern has changed the dynamics when it comes to depth help.
so after filo and looney, the backup interior really gets super thin lljl

I'd be willing to trade for an upgrade at Safety that's about it. If we are heavy at one position like LBer or OL and another team is loaded at Safety, I'd definitely say go for it.

We should be able to get a starting S for a package of Hyatt and Redmond .........

:muttley:

We should be able to snag Eddie Jackson or Kevin Byard if we toss in a 6th ;)

Karl Joseph makes way too much sense it’s sickening.

They are banged up on OL.

They have Joyner and Abram

McGovern played C his sophomore season. One of the reasons we drafted him was his "ability to play all 3 interior positions on the OL."

he has that versatile ability but McGovern is currently injured with that pectoral strained injury that's gonna force him to miss all of camp and preseason
and with an injury that, the team is going to be very cautious and careful with - thus meaning he's not going to get any meaningful snaps or reps at practice to factor as a backup center this year ,..should he even play this year.

a safety that is far more athlete than he is a player. Right.

The only asset I movable assets I see are Looney, Crawford and Taco.

Looney is worth more to us in a win-now year than he is to most other teams, I don't see him being traded. Crawford might appeal to a couple teams that have more cap space than talent - San Francisco jumps to mind. Based on what I've seen the last 2 years, I'd trade a half inflated football for Taco, but the coaching staff might see something with him that we don't.

I hope it is not Looney because I love that dude and also they need to be 100% certain Travis is back.

Yeah Looney is the guy that allows the OL coach to sleep at night knowing he can step in at a high level and give them a lot of options if there is an injury, which there will be

IMO, Looney is a NFL starter and we are fortunate to have him but McGovern should develop into the same or better version of Looney because he has played center and guard in college and looks like a talent if he can ever get healthy.

You have to draft to get a quality lineman so I’d imagine a team would have to offer a pretty legit safety that is probably still on a rookie contract to get Looney off our hands.

I wouldn't be trading Looney...Mcgovern has shown nothing in camp so far. Hasn't practiced...I'm not counting on that. I hate to say it...but his rookie year is already starting to look like a wash out. Had high hopes for this kid.
