Was watching the Rams game and there were a few times I said that looks like Murray. I also remember how Murray use to destroy the Rams. They both are built pretty similar Murray is listed 6 ft 213 lbs at combine and Pollard is listed at 6 ft 210. Murray was faster 4.41 vs Pollard 4.52 but I think Pollard plays faster than 4.52 their broads and verts were very similar. Sure would be nice if Pollard can play like Murray. Until I looked at Pollard I thought he was just a scat back but now after taking a new look and watching in preseason I think he has true potential.

I think Pollard is more like 4.38. He was sick during the combine, blah blah blah.

Not trolling laughing at the BS some are selling here comparing Pollard to a HB like Zeke.
Hey if your allowed to sell crazy so are we.....
Comparing him is not a sin. Saying he’s better or as good as Zeke is another thing. You replied to someone who said he had accleration like Deion. Not the worst thing in the world.

Maybe their long speed is comparable, but no way Murray was ever anywhere near as quick.

All we can say for sure at this point is Pollards play is defiantly not giving Zeke any leverage or helping him get a big payday and that in itself is good .

If Zeke wants to continue to act the fool we have someone that is showing promise in camp and helping the team

Am not going to bother here and answer to you anymore as all you have here is a Sell Dak Agenda at all cost and place the Cowboys 2nd.

Zekes play and establishing himself as THE best RB in the NFL gives him all leverage he needs.

Everyone is glad pollard looks like a guy who can give Zeke a breather and maybe even allow us to use some creative formations. This helps the cowboys so it helps us fans.

But let’s not pretend Zeke won’t get what he deserves, to be the highest paid RB in the NFL. If you are the best you should get paid as the best. No crime here.

I love Zeke and Dak...
Just as Pollard has played well and this takes nothing from Zeke. Dak has played very well and this has helped him contract status also.

it’s beyond time for you Anti-Dak or Anti Zeke message board trolls to accept the obvious and move on.

Pollard ran closer to 4.3 come his proday.

Pollard has 4.3 speed and he did look a lot like Murray. Murray is bigger and more physical, however.

One of Pollards greatest strengths is his down feild vision. He finds the path of least resistance very fast and hits it full speed. And he knows how to run skinny in tight running lanes.
Pollard can and will be successful running between the tackles regardless of his size.

Like I keep saying... Don't stop the Tony Pollard momentum. Don't pigeon hole him.

"But CATCH he's Lance Dunbar."

"He never carried the load in college"

Blah blah blah. Ignore this and go off of what he has shown in training camp.

Pollard ran closer to 4.3 come his proday.

And he claims he has ran a 4.29 before.

He said that it's hard to hit your best time with how they set up the 40 because you're never as loose and warmed up as you could be.

And just like DeMarco Murray many people think Pollard cant handle a heavy work load. He didn't do it in college. He didn't do it in college. That's what they keep saying. Well Aaron Rodgers didn't play on a pro-style offense in college and look at how that turned out.

If I'm saying give Pollard a chance then by the laws of logic I also have to give Hill a chance. Preemptive limitations are not logical.
He may get a chance whether we like it or not. Someone has not shown up and is holding out. I would imagine he is getting to work with the one's and I hope they start him in the next game.

I would have never guessed those two were that close in size.

When watching Pollard, I kept thinking he needs more weight to handle a bigger load of carries. Guess that's not the case!

Well, Zeke is great in pass protection. Pollard almost got Zak killed the other night on the play where he was sacked. Lets not eat the cheese as Parcell's used to say.
There were 2 rushers coming free from that side. It looked like Pollard was trying to slip out for the screen after engaging one for a second. Give him a break, most rookie RBs don't show much at all to start. He's showing a lot right now.
