What does being his College's first option have to do with anything? That's an extremely weak argument for what he is today. How many NFL players in the hall of fame weren't their college's first option? A great many of them were late bloomers and had much better professional careers than collegiate careers.

If you think I'm ready to "anoint" Pollard then you haven't been paying enough attention to what I've said about him. I've conceded he's not a 30 carry per game RB like Zeke has proven to be. He'll never fill the shoes of Zeke but he can run the ball well enough to keep the chains moving.

If you are hitching your wagon to Zeke right now then you are going nowhere on a football field.

What do you base this on? He's hot from the get-go? And Zeke being cold?

The kid has how many carries now? As it stands Pollard is about 4048 yards behind Zeke.

Tony pollard. After one good PRESEASON showing he is the most underrated. Liked how he looked personally but cmon. Lol its preseason.

It's an observation. I never said Zeke is cold, by the way. I just said he's not at his best until he has warmed up with a few carries. Are you suggesting the Cowboys can't win with Pollard until he has rushed as many yards as Zeke has? :facepalm:

Did I say that?

My thoughts are these. Run a two back offense. What do they call that, a 22. Use both Zeke and Pollard. The idea of play action with one back leaking out in the flat sdhould cause disruption. Then the lead draw from the same formation will be effective.

This is where Moore has options and can show he is the genius they claim.

By mentioning how many yards Pollard is behind Zeke, you very much implied the Cowboys can't win without Zeke.

I don't care about your thoughts on the offense's gameplan. Not complying with your thoughts doesn't have anything to do with whether Moore is a genius.

Needing to warm up to optimal temperature, does not imply the starting temp is "cold", it's just not optimal. I can play this game as long as it need be played, I'm retired and getting impatient for regular season football. :p

Another Rico story and if he's forced to carry the load(Zeke still out) the Pollard myth will come crashing down like the Hindenburg.......with Dak and the offense being on-board as passengers.
