PFF is a joke, but I agree with their ranking of Heath. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut every now and then.

Do you understand what it means to have solid football players on your team. Not everybody can be a superstar. Give me a bunch of solid football players I'll teach them make them play as one and win a championship . understand the game
its so damn easy... I think you should become a consutant and show all those idiots drafting players and coaching the teams how it works. Draft solid guys, teach em, and win championships. There simple.... not geter' done.

He’s not a “solid” safety. That’s the point. I have no problems with him being on this roster as a special teams guy and backup S.

Starter? Hell no.

Even if you believe he's a starting NFL safety, he's nowhere near the level to where he gets no competition and no threat of replacement. It's ridiculous that he doesn't have any competition.

Dak is average

I can agree with him being average. But in saying that his pros fit well with this team. So do we mind paying a QB that fits with this team for the next 5 years?..We were lucky to find a franchise type QB so fast with Romos injuries ending his career. Let alone in the same draft we got Zeek.

Jeff Heath ranks 20th on NFL .com for most tackles at 85. He isnt the bum some want to make him out to be.

Heath is part of a defense that many have been heaping praise on. So I have no problem with Heath starting. Especially when you consider our present alternatives. But as the sayings go....Everyone cant be a superstar. (and) You get what you pay for.

A couple of questions:

Where, on PFF, does Heath rank among Safeties in the NFL who've
single-handedly won games? Or, where does Heath rank as far as
leading his team in interceptions for multiple years? Just curious,
since cherry-picking is the name of the game on the internet... lol.

Also, a more serious question, where is Karl Joseph ranked as an NFL Safety on the almighty PFF?
It appears that many feel we should trade for him. On this, I'm legitimately curious.

There are so many bad players that can lead the team in ints when youre secondary ranks near the bottom of the league every year in ints. Hes also cost us games. So just be real that the guy is a subpar starter

I just like PFF. They’re not perfect, but they quantify unknown information. Ignorance is the biggest obstacle in any circumstance. They do their best to alleviate ignorance.

Their quantification of unknown information is awful at worst, inconsistent at best.

There is no consistency in their grading, they have been caught grading players on plays without actually knowing what the players’ responsibility was (for example, last year they hit Quentin Nelson for a bad play and after some analysts reviewed it, PFF messed up the play and they gave Nelson a bad grade for a missed block that he wasn’t even supposed to make).
