Contract probably does not say "with such exemptions the aforementioned covenant doth too apply unless you wow us in 2017 and 2018 despite and in spite re suspensions recognized in Duulaands Dutch law, to said reliants of this contract."
In the vernacular, Mr. Elliott, you had a sterling case for renewal. Why not?
Then you held out.
To these louts here, who work 8-12 hour days, I say to them, make all honor their contracts!
Then work on public relations.
BACK TO CABO IN A SNIT?????!!!!!
But, please, Cabo? Twice???
YOU ARE NOT AVA GARDNER!!!!!!!!!
STAY IN CABO!
I RECOMMEND THE India-Brit pub and Josefa's for late night wine and political chatter in Cabo.
Rather. Then, off we go.
Hollah and brings me a dollah
I understand this argument but its also not understanding where Zeke unfortunately has to come from. Zeke is going to have most likely about 700? More touches before his next contract. His value will probably dip, especially the way he runs. From his point of view, and what he means to this offense, he does deserve a raise.

Sadly Zeke truly does deserve a raise

He DESERVES to be the HIGHEST PAID HB in the NFL.......Now if Jerry doesn't wanna pay others will.
Concerning our team this coming season without Zeke.....well the good news is we will have a top 5 pick to finally pick-up our new Franchise QB in the Draft.
Another wonderful day in Jerry's world!!!!!!

For his production and value to the team he is underpaid. But so are so many other players in this league.

What about mahomes? He was MVP last year and the new face of the league. No off field issues and a truly likeable guy. He deserves a raise more than anyone but u don't hear him complaining about his situation or holding out.

I get that Zeke is a RB and they have a shorter shelf life. But he has two years left on a rookie contract and missed 6 games due to suspension. Plus he didn't even play in a couple more meaningless games. And they don't make him play a snap in pre season .

Mahomes is a bad example for a couple reasons. First reason is that he isn’t even eligible for a new deal yet anyway. Rookies have to accrue 3 full seasons before they are eligible for an extension under the CBA.

Second reason is you are using the QB position as an example. QBs never hold out because QBs always get paid. There is never been a reason for a quarterback to hold out. All Russell Wilson had to do was make a threat and he had a deal in 72 hours. Nobody can even point to an example of when a good quarterback wasn’t paid. It happens quite frequently with running backs…

I am not necessarily defending Zeke...I think he’s a punk. I just think it’s wise to compare apples to apples when trying to make an example

With Pollards, doubt Zeke gets 700. Moore handpicked Pollard to be drafted.

I'd kinda' like to know a little something about the( purported) offer he'd ( supposedly) turned his nose up at, just out of curiosity more than anything, as I'm already preconditioning my Fandom to accept a Zeke-less future,,, er,,, and a Dak-less future too, if it's factual that he'd already rejected 30 mil annual.
I heard Elliot turned down bell money. Why wouldn’t he when SJ said he has gurly money set to the side already. Dak turns down 30
Because he wants a little more than wentz got. 32.5 - 33..

But there is a new OC. Zeke needs to be at practice learning everything new this offense will do.

He starts slow after preseason and suspensions.

That's how I feel. We have a new OC coach who want's to pass more and and not run him into the ground.

Regardless, hes going to get most carries. How much will Pollard actually take? IDK, but when the game is on the line, you dont take the best player on the team off the field.

You guys need to stop...if Dallas get into the special game and that's what we are all here for. Right, wrong, or indifferent, he needs to be there.

The fact that this fool is earning more than Dak with two game checks, and he has the nerve enough to ask for more! It's a slap in the face to Dak and Jerry.

That's irrelevant - it's just how the pay scale works between a top 5 draft pick and a 4th round draft pick and has nothing to do with the current value of either player.

He may want to consider reducing his entourage and cutting back on the airline miles. If the Cowboys start enforcing fines it's rough writing checks with no money coming in, the bank account just keeps going down.

That is a good point. But I think a running back is the one position even with a new OC you can afford to miss all of preseason. I'd be more concerned if it was any other position.

You should care only of you think team building, chemistry, leadership, or character matter. If you don’t, I’m 100% with you.
That stuff is overrated. You can have all that and still go 3-13. Trust me I've seen it with this team. This whole RKG mantra.....man a RKG Mantra can easily get you 3 wins and 13 losses in a season if you aren't careful.

When Emmitt held out I don't recall him or the Cowboys being effected by team building, chemistry or leadership.

Yeah because it's not like players get better in practice right?
Not Zeke. Zeke goes out there and he's one of the better players out there.

And like I said once he signs his contract you think he won't be attending practice? Is that going to be some kind of clause in his contract that says he can't practice? He's going to get all the practice he wants once he signs.
