71.6% with Cooper = basic enough for me.
Cooper sure makes Dak look better than he actually is. It takes a team of Pro Bowl players to cover his lack of skills. Even then, poor pocket presence, fumbling, overlooking wide open WRs, etc can not be helped by other players in the same way that Cooper helps Dak’s accuracy by making some great catches.

I think the Cowboys will first need to evolve into a different offensive identity. Hard to do when you are dependent on one of the best players in the league, who, by the way, was pretty good at covering up your warts.

Not hard if Garrett stops being a knucklehead and adjusts to the skillset of the team rather than force is lame playbook onto this offense.

We have plenty of weapons at our disposal. Garrett just needs to know how to use them.

Ya, only Zeke can run thru open holes with 4.38 speed. Pollard can get 4.5 ypc behind the Cowboys OL.

Zeke can't run thru-holes at 4.3 speed. He is a 4.4 guy. From looking at what he did last year it seems like he lost some of his breakaway speed.

We have to pay Zeke or trade him. That's what it boils down to.

If a team comes offering some picks that include a 1st then trade him and be done with it.

If not? Keep him.
Nobody is going to give you much of anything for a RB that wants to be the highest paid with serious off field issues and 1 mistake from a lifetime ban. Zeke will eventually play for the Cowboys again he doesn't have a choice. He needs those accured seasons.

Zeke is a great RB and the offense is better with him on the field but he's no silver bullet, In the divisional round against the Rams he rushed for 47 yards on 20 carries averaging 2.4 yards per carry.

People will say he can replace Zeke until we 2 for 10 on 3rd and 1 and can any longer run what used to be automatic 1st downs. I like Pollard...I Love Zeke. I hope he gets his $$$.

It is not about replacing Zeke. Zeke is an all world talent. You don't replace that. But that doesn't mean that we can't win without Zeke. Zeke would make it easier but is that worth the cost.

Let's say:

Zeke averages 140 yards a game
Without Zeke, they aver 124 yards a game.. what is that 16 yards worth?
Yep. It also equates to an 8-8 season....or worse.

Preseason. One drive. The drive did look good no doubt... but again, preseason. Dont understand how scared can be confused with realistic. When the regular season comes and that 1st game intensity hits then that will be a better gauge compared to now...
If that's what it takes to convince you then, so be it. Regular season football with all our starts sans Zeke, it should be amazing. We should easily win our first 3 games. Then will the Zeke fans out there be scared for him?

Preseason. 2nd stringers. Again with the scared thing. Dude, you are not seeing this objectively at all. Sorry.

What you are hoping for is a precedent that will destroy the team. Every rookie will holdout when he outplays his rookie contract.

If you have any thoughts that Pollard will be able to replace Zeke.
Many here believe Dak is a top tier QB. If what they say is true, the Cowboys will be fine. It is a passing league and we have a very good oline to protect Dak and a top 5 receiving group. Dak should easily put up 4000+ yards and 30+ TD's.

Kissing the *** and giving in to a mentally challenged player like Zeke will not end well for the Cowboys.

The question you have to ask yourself is what is better?
Pollard + the capspace equal to what Zeke will sign + what you can trade Zeke for
or
Pollard + Zeke

If Zeke is seriously looking for a lot more than Gurley and won't sign for less, I have difficulty believing that option B is better than option A in the long term.

I did and you are getting ahead of yourself a bit too much. It's not hope. Its reality at this point in time.
