Have to agree with Jerry here for what he did to back Zeke.
I'm not siding with Zeke by saying this, but let's be honest about why Jerry has supported Zeke. It's because Zeke benefits the Cowboys when he is on the field. Do you think he would have reacted the same had it been Rod Smith? The man has stuck his neck out, along with his reputation and checkbook, multiple times to defend Zeke after boneheaded moves.
And Zeke repays him by holding out with 2 years left on his deal?
Yeah. He’s earned the right to make a little joke.

Watch his face. He is pissed to say the least.

Notice he said joke "with" Zeke as opposed to joke about Zeke.
This sounds like more Jerry telling Zeke's agent to shut his pie hole.
Yes it is true, but that’s the point. Let’s not act as if Jerry sticking by Zeke was a purely selfless act and had nothing to do with protecting his investment and helping his business. But that’s true whenever an owner or coach has a player causing an issue... Both Jerry and Jimmy stuck by Irvin back then because he was the heartbeat of the team.
And in fairness to Jerry, he doesn’t just show loyalty to the players when they’re playing, he continues it long after they retire.
You don’t hear many ex players say anything bad about Jerry.
Stephen is the one who is really done with agents. Made multiple references to agents not looking out for players.Notice he said joke "with" Zeke as opposed to joke about Zeke.

A lack of a sense of humor is very unattractive. Something the media needs to work on.
