What could we get for Zeke?

Howie Roseman would trade him for 3 first round picks.

Jerry would trade him for a conditional third and then sell the fans on how the cap savings will make them competitive (read: win a wild card playoff game every few years) for the next decade.

I don’t think you give jerry enough credit....

We'll of course, this assumes that at least 1 of the 32 NFL teams would want to pay what Zeke wants.
There may be a few teams that would, like phil , all they need is a good run game to make another run.
That is what hurt them last year.
Dont have a clue what they would give for feed me, but I figure at least a 2nd.

We traded the #1 RB in the league to Minnesota a few years back that worked out pretty good!

It would work again except that Vikings has Cook, Mattison, and Boone which is a pretty good set of running backs so they do not need Zeke unfortanely

Be nice to get a 1st and a 3rd from a bottom 10 team?

Fortunately Jerry's always been available to give himself plenty of credit. He's the type of guy to wear his Hall of Fame blazer into a convenience store to get a hot dog.

RB comp. Marshawn Lynch.. got traded after his 3rd year for a 4th and a conditional.

No Lynch got traded after the 4th game of his 4th season at the time he had 164 yards rushing after 4 games and that was coming off his 3rd season where he had 450 yards rushing for the season., Zeke's situation is a little different

2 and a starter is perfectly reasonable. Zeke may be worth a 1, but I don't know that you'll get it from someone this close to the season starting. People have their rosters pretty much set. Maybe wait for an injury?

Zeke is a top 2 player at a glamour position. He is a pro bowler in any healthy year.

The bidding would start with a first, second and future 4th.

I think Zeke has a 10 cent head, but the talent is there to wear a gold jacket in a decade. Those commodities have value.

Who's a physical speciman, strong & fast, can run over/jump over defenders, can get 1,500 easy. Not to mention his threat as a reciever. You obviously need a hit of acid to change your reality from a deep self induced coma.
No one is denying his talent. He’s lived up to his draft selection. He just hasn’t doubled or tripled it...that’s crazy.

You also have to cons that no other team will value a workhorse RB as much as the Cowboys. The majoybelieve in RB by committee. There’s just no way on Gods green earth you find a team willing to part with multiple firsts and then some for a RB...and then set the market with his pay. His best 3 years of his career are probably behind him. It’s not the age...it’s the mileage

The Steelers couldn't manage to trade Lev Bell right?

He had his own issues, is older and more wear and tear but I dont think its an awful comparison.

I also think they would've needed a sign and trade to get it done, but the same is likely with a Zeke deal.

If I told you this would even be a discussion a month or so ago Id be having a go at you. Smh, cant believe its come to this.

I'm not giving him away. 1,500 yd backs, with power & speed that can leap over defenders plus take on 3-4 players & still strong enough to get that extra yard when it's a must, are rare. Plus he is a good reciever.

At least 2 1sts and a 3rd.

Then you're stuck with him.
