Today Zeke is worth more. History tells us, however that before the end, likely in the middle of his next contract his play if going to drop off a cliff. Could he be an outlier and keep playing the position at a high level through the end of his next contract? Sure. But, I'd rather give an elite LB talent that money than a running back, personally. Especially when you've got a fortune tied up in an offensive line that just about anyone could get good yardage behind.

Well yes.

But as an aside, I don't know that I get the idea that Jaylon took any sort of discount. It's a discount if he's in the top tier of LBers...but he's not. He's an off-ball linebacker who doesn't really make any plays in the passing game.

Jaylon is the new leader of the defense though. Zeke gets the ball and puts points on the board but the defense keeps points OFF the board and Jaylon is a big part of that. He has taken Sean Lee's Mantle.

Hell yes!

Zeke has a greater probability of scoring TDS and creating 1st downs. Points win game. I know you all love your defense, but Dak and Zeke are putting points on the board.

This is probably short sighted granted the "new NFL" is geared toward offense. I really think Zeke is worth about the same except for his weak mindedness which reflect on the business negatively.

Is Zeke worth more than Jaylon?

:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

I'm laughing too hard to answer.
because its very hard YES... JS might turn into an elite LB but 22 starts and very inconsistent all of 2017 and did some nice things but Zekes been elite since day one and earned his money already and well we LOANED JS money in hopes of a return on investment..Zekes didnt come in an get paid for a freshman redshirt, then ease back in the next year and FT starter the 3rd..he hit the ground running..the debate stops at whos actually done more and meant more to this team up until this point? its zeke...

zekes top 2, arguably the best , period..lets not get it twisted been that way since game 1 and never waivered.

JS is developing into atop 5 LB but IMO hes not top 5 yet..so yes Zeke is worth more ..

yes 15 because what hes done and will do for this team...hes Elite noone is mistaking JS Elite, they see that in him and hes headed that way but heck this year he might not even be the best LB on the team, SEE LVE..Sean Lee was better when helathy and at his peak..yes yes he was.. I like JS but no way he is worth more then zeke..

Jaylon is lowkey my favorite player or close to it on this team, but I still don't put him or LVE in the top 5 category. i want consistency, I want to see teams fear that player. I know players fear Zeke and he also has a night W/L record to show for it. What's Jaylons record? This is mainly for the Dakers around here.

Then give him the contract he wants and cut him before it ends. Problem solved.

With the 5yr/64 million dollar extension it won’t be long until he’s worth more...the checks just have to hit the bank!! Just saying!

Pay Elliot 1 dollar more than gurly. The rams raised the market by quite a bit.
