Nice to hear, but what's he supposed to say?

"He ain't ready. It's year 4 and has a long way to go"

Prescott needs to step up his game big time this year. As of now he's the definition of average. He needs to be better than that starting week 1.
Sadly if there's no Zeke he'll be well below average. And if no Zeke all year, and Dak is below average because of the domino effect, does that mean Garrett gets a pass again?

I don't want to think about that.

@rocyaice ...Don't bother trying to have a rational conversation with irrational people. What people seem to gloss over is.. had Dallas not traded for an experienced former 1st rd draftee, Wide receiver would have been the pressing need during the draft anyway. AND BTW.. it wasn't a coincidence that, per the pundits, the draft did not have a true #1 WR talent readily available. Atleast not one that scouts considered a lock. Fortunately, our Scouting dept (Will McClay) knew this. It was evident Dallas needed a WR, and they made the trade. An excellent move by the FO. Folks are always ready to throw dirt on FO, yet never give credit when its due..much like a spoiled child.

That said, I disagree with only one point. Yes, I concede that Cooper is a 2nd tier WR, but he's at the top of that tier. If Cooper continues to perform as he did while playing with Dallas last year, he will definitely be considered in 'Top WR' conversations.
LOL @ rosey being rational

Daks gonna have a good year. So is Pollard.

Dak will have a great season, Pollard will have a good rookie season but it will be even better when Zeke comes in. other than that he will have an ok season his rookie season.

You're right man. They will talk about passing up TJ Watt all day but won't acknowledge that we stole Jaylon, Dak and Amari just to name a few.

And yeah man we don't disagree much. I agree with you Cooper is 2nd tier but production wise he can contribute like a 1st tier. He was definitely worth the first rounder but that poster I replied to tried to make it as if Cooper saved him no it was the other way around. They didn't get Calvin Johnson or TO in a deal they got Amari Cooper who was solid but no one thought he'd have the impact he did. He's trying to rewrite the narrative.

And gave up a #1 draft pick for him. We all lucked out on that one so far.
We did. They got lucky with a bunch of moves on this roster. Well....with Cooper I will give them props but yeah they are lucky that move didn't bite them. But this goes back to a point I made in another thread. You can't have a scary front office. You have to take chances. And the chances this team has taken have them in position to contend this year.

I've been tough on Dak's game, but what we had lined up at WR those first 8 games would have been tough on most QB's in the game today. And several HOF qb's from yesteryear.
Im given the flack back at the Zeke haters because Dak and Amari are NOT without fault and should not be given credit for being prepared to do their job and just at a average to good level..

Zeles elite and this board are like sharks to blood and im sick of it..

IMO Daks an above average low 2nd tier QB and Kitna trying to let us know hes ready SHOWS how they realize how alot see Dak for what he truly is. The fans somehow need affirmation and Dak demanding more then 30 and Amari more than 17 shows their actual selfishness MORE SO then Zekes hold out..newsflash both are out tof the top 10 in overall ranking at their positions and Zeke is 1 or 2?

IMO they are holding this team hostage more then Zeke, Zeke simply wants what hes earned and can continue to earn and really this is the only time he could make a stand to get it..

so ill continue to remind other of this until this all returns to normal...

Jerry sign them all, our window is open for maybe 2 years..lets do this!!!

Well mind you Cooper wasn't a #1 when he got him. Cooper was actually one of the worst starting receivers in the league before he got traded last season. So its not like they went out and got ODB or Julio Jones or someone. They got a second tier receiver who was playing like the worst receiver in the league. Let's keep the narrative authentic and honest.
We blew a 1st on a second tier WR playing like the worst in the league? Sigh...

he didnt attack the first 8 games last year maybe he wasn't ready..3-5 needed to give away a 1st for a WR just to help him.lol
I saw s stat recently that had him rated as the 28th most aggressive QB in the league last year.

Does that mean dak wont play in ps game # 3??
I will believe Dak is better when I see it in Sept.

He had Zeke and the best OL in the league.

He may not have either to start the season this year

30 million a year QB shouldn't be worried about the above that's why they get paid the BIG BUCKS?

RIght???
Right???
RIght???

Or maybe Dak isn't a 30 million $ QB but a bench QB with a bench paycheck???
