Doesn’t matter. It will greatly effect what Dak’s agent asks for.

True, thats what agents do. So you think its smarter to pay him 33-34 million this year? Or is waiting and making him prove himself a better move by the FO? Curious to know how much you love the Dallas Cowboys qb?

Who determines what accomplishments are worth $40M?

If I were JJ, it would be 4000+ yds and 30+ TDs minimum and at least making the playoffs.

This was my choice all along. I want to see much better from him before giving him that kind of money. He was lights out in 4th quarters but simply average the rest of the time. I want to see him be consistently good all game and not need to turn it on in the 4th. This leaves the franchise tag available if he doesn’t earn it but still wants Russell Wilson money.

And Cowboys are 7-9

Are you gonna ask Lawerence , Smith , Martin etc to give back some of their contracts money for the ****** season?

Good thing about team game is you take Ls & Ws together :)
Not sure what you are saying.

If Dak has a great year, he will be looking at an extension at $35M+.

If Dak has a bad year, that offer drops probably below $25M a year.

What does that have to do with the contracts of the other guys whose contracts are settled?

I enjoy that you enjoy crap seasons.
It really is about having fun and not winning and I respect that.

Hey...I'm in this thing for the "likes"....I've come to the sad conclusion I will never see another SB title as long as Jerry and the Jones clan own the Cowboys. It's just a poorly operated corporation now...geared to make money...not win football games. :(

I respect it if true.

Happy for Dak to prove me wrong on his ceiling. And would love to have him prove me wrong before signing him to a huge deal.

If true I hope his main focus is in winning and not padding stats. I hope he continues to improve and lead us to multiple Super Bowl rings.

He's always had the right mentality. I'm not surprised. He sees a loaded roster and knows if they win a playoff game or two, his price goes up even more. Smart move IMO.

If you signed him back in April before Wentz, I bet you could have gotten him for 30. Waiting longer will just make it go up more.
