There are so many I watched that it would be difficult to list. Then there were the after school ones too, like Battle of the Planets (G-Force / Gotchaman), Star Blazers, Robotech, Tom & Jerry, etc.

Now that the Banana Splits will be a live action horror movie, I wonder what other childhood memories will be dredged to make something... like a Sigmund the Sea Monster horror?
A dark and gritty Electrawoman and Dynagirl? A Saw-like Dr Shrinker? A Cujo-like Dynamutt?

Spiderman is the only one I've ever seen. That Hulk theme song is awful!

My older son has great memories of the two of us watching these on Saturday mornings. BTW, you need a good Sleestak impersonation for a birthday party, look no further.

When I was a kid, we only had 3 channels and an antenna on the top of the cave. I was more into the live action Sat am stuff like Sky King, Fury, My Friend Flicka, Rin Tin Tin and Roy Rogers but the most unusual show ever created for my generation was Winky Dink and You.

Some creative ad guy thought it would be a great idea to sell these plastic screens that went over the TV screen and markers and let the child participate by drawing Winky Dink a bridge to cross or a road when he ran out of one, this was the You part, and this was a pretty creative and fine idea, except for two things. One, kids didn't always remember to put the screen on the TV before they were about the business of helping Winky Dink out. And two, boys were prone to add appendages to Winky Dink to make him anatomically correct.

So, later in the day, the old man sits down to watch the baseball game and notices an appendage on the pitcher that should not be there. Bye bye Winky Dink and my Dad considered selling me back to the gypsies.

Back in those days, there wasn’t much else to choose to watch after the sat cartoons, (other than Soul Train) and the westerns like Fury, lone ranger, wild wild west, rifle man, branded, F-Troop, Raw Hide and Wyatt Erb .. and then afterwards, here comes the animal shows like Lassie, Benji , Rin-Tin-Tin episodes.

As a kid, westerns just weren’t my trip at that time, and I admit that I got bored and restless fast when the westerns came on - especially if there was bad weather outside, then I was basically stuck at home to watching westerns and animal shows that were incredible popular at that time and era.
If the networks would have chosen to broadcast the old Adam West- Batman shows, then I would have more satisfied, but alas, that was more directed to the weekday afternoon shows - before the cable TV shows started the new era.

I only wished we had such rich choices such as the Cartoon Network in my ole kiddo dayz. I would have never left the tv tube until lunch time.
Then over time, more and more of the superhero genre shows began their run, and then we were treated with more newer versions of Hulk, Spider-Man, and eventually the 90's Xmen animation version.

yeh, the Sleekstak tribe. they were very popular.

Space Ghost was pretty popular too. From ages to ages, and even with nowadays kids.
In fact, i'm surprised Hollywood has not tried to bring him to live action film yet.

The wacky racers was the one that had Muttley dog and his wheezing laughter in it, right? :muttley:

Which toon had actor Paul Lindens voice as a villain and said:
" I'm going to get you Penelope Pitstop ! "
