Right. The holdout took them by surprise and that why we are scrambling to sign Alfred Morris.

Morris was brought in for training camp only. There isn 1 cowboys management staffer who thinks zeke isnt coming back. No one is scrambling over a rb issue except fans.

Joe Thomas is a Hall of Famer, but he played on some of the worst teams in NFL history. Never even played a playoff game. He doesn't value winning at all. I'd rather take a little bit of money off to play on a winning team than make top dollar on a terrible team.
I know right? Of all guys to open their cake hole. He was so comfortable losing, he never even bothered trying to leave.

Yet, if Joe Thomas took a deal with another team, you're the same ****ers who would criticize him for "chasing the money" and "not being loyal to his team".

Joe Thomas? Who cares? What do people think a retired player not affiliated with the Cowboys would say. Twitter sucks.

Of course Zeke is coming back. The question is week 1 or week 9. He needs the accrued season or he's back in the same spot next year.

The team you play for has nothing to do with your ability as a player, and the recognition you should receive.

Sure, the Browns sucked many times during Thomas’ career. But that doesn’t take away from the fact that he is one of the best, if not the best, LTs of the 2000s.

So if Tom Brady made this same statement, would you considered it more valid?
O my goodness, it's a joke people!!!! I'm making fun of the Browns. As a fan of the Cowboys I hear people making jokes about our team. I made a joke about another team. All in good fun. You guys do know how to have fun right? I mean isn't this what were supposed to be doing is having fun?

I am so sorry, so very sorry to Joe Thomas. Cuz I'm sure he cares about what I said. But more importantly I'm sorry to all of you guys that I offended. This is something I have to live with. I am so sorry to interrupt your guys' extremely serious, competitive, intense, hypersensitive, discussion.

Seriously, you guys need to lighten up. Take some xanax, or go see a therapist. This forum is turning into a bunch of people that just argue. It used to be fun to post here, people would do this bizarre social ritual called joking around.

When it's to the point that you guys are so sensitive that someone can't make a joke about another player on a different team or different team in general without posters jumping down your throat It's time to stop posting.

I'm not posting anymore, you guys are way to sensitive. Seriously, consider therapy.

Take care

This is a really long response to a post that doesn’t really mean much.

You know, calling other people “hypersensitive” in a post that long and overreactionary is actually funny, tbh.

Obviously, I’m not the one who needs the Xans

Thomas fails to take into account the fact that Zeke is still locked up for a minimum for two years.

I’m sorry but if you have two years left on your deal. That lowers Your value a bit. Let’s face facts.

And once games start he will losing a near quarter mil check every week...
So yeah stay in Cabo.....or cash checks...Joe too many shots to the head bruh

All players, regardless of ability, have been completely & utterly brainwashed into the player deserves everything they want, any time they want it.

Ignore all of them when it comes to should a player get paid.

he can't accrue a season at this point. All he can do is A) earn his paychecks B) do that for at least 6 games so that his roughly 3 million salary for this year doesn't roll over to next year. or in NFL lingo, his salary would toll.

Why should we care what Joe Thomas says or thinks?

Wait, I thought Cowboys fans thought everything after 1996 was a huge waste of time because the only success is rings? Now we're saying it's been great all along? LOL OK.

Also doesn't everyone here hate how players are disloyal to their team, but the same people also hate how... Joe Thomas was loyal to the team? How is that even a serious criticism?

Not many former or current players don't view Zeke as the best player on the Cowboys. So most are on his side in this negotiation.

Plus all Joe Thomas really said is that Zeke should get more than Gurley, which if you factor in the fact that Gurley already has arthritic knees is hardly a crazy proposition from a player's POV. "If that gimp got X, I should get X+Y" is not a hard point of view to understand.

Also like half this forum argues that Zeke is the #1 RB in the NFL, so uh why shouldn't he get paid #1 in the NFL money? He's had disciplinary issues, but doesn't everybody here complain that Zeke has been unfairly targeted all along anyway?
