I'm right. Call me funny all you want but I state facts.

Why oh why is JJ going to pay Zeke top dollar if he's like 8th in the pecking order? Talk is cheap, actions are everything, your opinion or Cowboys actions who should I believe? Again you're funny.

I think during that start it was a bit part of Dak and the receivers. As Chris Carter said, no one was afraid of the receivers the boys had before Cooper.
Seemed weird how after we got a #1 WR that Dak got a lot better. Now Gallup taking the next step is going to open a lot more things. Of beez stayed he would have had a amazing year.

Where was the Almighty Zeke during the Rams playoff game?
Lol you sure are a stubborn dude. Cannot admit to fallacy. I'll play along... Where has Dak been in respect to the position he plays? I will give you this... Objectively, Quincy Carter is a poor mans Dak. Dak isnt a bad QB at all but I think something is loopy with your head at times from all the sniffing of Dak's jockstrap.

Dak had the highest QBR throughout the playoffs this past season, plus he's been a gamer in every playoff game he's played in his career. Can't say the same for Zeke. Dak even passed for over 300 yards and at least 3 TDs in his very first playoff game against the Aaron Rodgers led Packers. Romo never threw for 300 yards or more than 2 TDs in any playoff game he played in.

I say for years you sniffed inside the wrong jockstrap. Love that choking sensation, eh?

I never said Dak was a bad QB. You make throughout the playoffs sound like Dallas went far. They didnt. He should be putting up great numbers more times than not because of the supporting cast. Kinda like Zeke does with his "running" line. Zeke has a bad game because he is keyed on the most. Dak has a bad game and its everyone elses fault. A big part of Daks job should be to exploit what the defense is giving him. You dont see that near as much as you would like. With that said, I do think he is solidly consistent. The game/time of possession management has been really good with him. If Dak made as many plays as excuses he gets here then he would be as good as Zeke in respect to his position to be honest.

Dumb move caving in to Zeke. Just watch, other key players are going to start doing the same even if they have years left on their contracts. Terrible precedent to set in motion.

This won't be a precedent. Players have held out before, and teams have made a deal without the flood of subsequent problems fans imagine.

Zeke's a great player and all, but I can't help but find it ridiculous to reward a guy that was selected 4th overall for holding out 3 years into his deal, given his off-field history. I don't think he's earned this money, and he's shown no loyalty to the organization or care for the fans, either by word or deed.

My view of him has certainly changed through this process, but can't hate on another man for getting his money.

Unfortunately Garrett is still the head coach.

And honestly, until we see the contract it's hard to even know if Dallas is caving or not.

Frankly, you may never know who actually caved. If Elliott and his agent really thought he was get more than Gurley, if they take less, then you could argue they caved. Maybe they thought Jerry would have buckled way before this and realized that there was a good chance Jerry was going to start the season without Elliott. Or maybe Dallas is hitting their sweet spot number here all along. We just don't know.

Per Kevin Turner:

BREAKING: Hello, talented media personality KT here, same source tells me Zeke is booked to return from Cabo tomorrow. Another source tells
@Shippyfunsports
the Cowboys and Zeke were in contact late last night, and that a deal could come together over the weekend.
He is scheduled to be at a charity event that Dak is having anyways.

It makes sense to get Zeke back ASAP, this is the best roster they have had in a very long time, if they can't win with it over the next 2 years they will likely be needing a roster overhaul (maybe overhaul is too strong of a word here but you get what I mean), in which case the cap won't matter to us anymore, or if they win, we won't care about lack of cap space.
