he will...HEY...look at it like this. EVEN TACO is vastly improved! It took like 2/12 years going on year 3...and here he is showing big signs of improvement. Marinelli and Haley have made a difference with him...and I feel Hill needs to simply listen and do the little things. Starting matters not. Learning does.Marinelli will whip him into shape. He has the others playing well. He got thru to Taco. But it’s preseason and was a bad line they played against.
You can say that about any position, though.Too bad most do not understand or accept this fact.
After last night, I saw him in but disappeared as usual. I don't know what they saw in him to be such an early pick.
..you guys seeing something else?
He's gonna take it easy and wait til his contract year to emerge. Pulling a Lawrence and maybe Taco. After last night, I saw him in but disappeared as usual. I don't know what they saw in him to be such an early pick.

especially at 1/3 tech....ok, good input here from you guys. So most you of are saying because of the position, it needs development? ..thats fair enough.
..ummm, ... interesting. So does he take up a roster spot or gets put on PS?
It’s a slow to develope position for mostHe’s a project.
Check back in 2 years.
.. ...Taco is doing so dang good, Im worried he doesn't drop off during real season games.he will...HEY...look at it like this. EVEN TACO is vastly improved! - i saw Hill making a few tackles in this game including a tackle for a loss. at least we are seeing that.
i'm preparing myself that he may not be there as a sack master this year as he is just too raw and underdeveloped and has that much to learn
at the NFL level. But it's important that he is game active and get some kind of snaps instead of being redshirt on inactive list.
..good point, but its not impossible.Dude. When was the last time a 2nd rounder was cut after his first preseason?
I can see us picking up Taco 5th year option.he will...HEY...look at it like this. EVEN TACO is vastly improved! If he is as good as they are saying he may show more improvement during the actual season. I am optimistic about him for sure.agree...right now he hasn't a clue what he's doing lol...not a knock on him...its just fact...he is a rookie. Next year I see him being better.
He's got freakish physical ability but needs to learn technique. It will take a year or 2.After last night, I saw him in but disappeared as usual. I don't know what they saw in him to be such an early pick.

SOMEWHAT. Dana was taller I think..but that's a decent Comp. Right now he just looks more lost than anything. Thats totally normal. Another thing is he is still learning about leverage and how to maximize his girth. That's only comes with in game reps and a span of up to 3 years. He's awful young still. He reminds me of a very raw Dana Stubblefield.
by years end we will see flashes...he gonna be good.If he is as good as they are saying he may show more improvement during the actual season. I am optimistic about him for sure.
Why would you put a 2nd round pick on the practice squad?..ummm, ... interesting. So does he take up a roster spot or gets put on PS?
With the way Maliek is playing he will not be starting at all this year. My hope is that he hits his stride mid to late season in time for our playoff run.he wont be starting until late in the year or next season. He is somewhat green.
