Don’t really see why Troy is so triggered. Gottlieb isn’t saying Luck doesn’t have the right to retire. He’s just saying that this is a very 2019 thing that we’re witnessing.

Do you really think that Gottlieb isn’t taking a shot here?

Gottlieb has no clue what he's talking about, playing QB and fighting through injuries. Aikman does, and he called Gottlieb on it.

Saying he's "triggered" is a very 2019 thing.
You don’t think Troy is triggered? He’s seems pretty hot about it to me.

And where did Gottlieb say he knew what playing QB in the NFL is like? His point is that pro sports and pro athletes are making very different decisions nowadays. Look at superstar players in the NBA getting together in FA and trying to win titles rather than stick it out with their original franchises. It’s a different world today for better or worse.

Luck got booed out of the stadium and he should have. What kind of pathetic ***** quits 2 weeks before the season begins because of an ankle sprain?

If he wasnt willing to risk an ankle sprain he should have retired in the offseason.
THANK YOU. Now the team is set back...caught with their drawers down with no shot at winning.

I highly doubt Aikman would quit in his 7th year because of an ankle sprain. And I am sure he wouldnt do it two weeks before the season began.

Aikman is better than Luck.

You really think an ankle sprain is making him retire? Maybe take a look at all his injuries and what he has played through all these years. So narrow minded.

What’s this got to do with Luck? Aikman walked away after too many concussions. He made a health decision for himself.

That’s what Luck did here. He’s battled upper and lower body injuries, he’s had at least one concussion and he lacerated a liver.

It’s perfecrly logical to see a guy walk away from football concerned about his life going forward with that laundry list of injuries.

Its also ridiculous to insinuate Luck is a wuss after he played 6 seasons at a position where you take a pounding.

And if only millenials would retire early, then Barry Sanders is a 51 year old millenial.

Bravo Troy!!!
No...not Bravo. Troy got triggered because he was also a QB. Troy was sort of right...but handled this wrong. Gotleib is a turd...MOST OF THE TIME...but on this, he may have accidentally got it right. To find out your franchise QB is quitting on the team with short notice, POST DRAFT and free agency is devastating. The timing stinks. Luck likely has more issues..FINE...but at least give the team more time than 2 weeks. Its terrible optics and the colts are all but done.

And he certainly took a pounding when you look at his injury history.

Troy would have never quit because of an ankle sprain.

It’s laughable you keep carrying this narrative that Luck is retiring just because of an ankle sprain.

I think the timing of Luck announcing his retirement is unfair to the team but your narrative is very naive.

Holly what?..................That guy just ruined the team for the next 4 years minimum. All the players that have been busting thier @@@ ready for a SB run just got bent over.

Did you see that loser shaking hands with guys on the sidelines?

"sorry guys, I am retiring..........see ya later"? Like Gomer Pile?

You think the owner and HC were happy? He just screwed everyone.

And the fans? They were a prime time contender!!!!

Dugh, my wife thinks I should retire!!!! LOL

Great, at least we agree on the timing. Because that is the biggest issue for me.
