I’m curious about the service comments.

Is the satellite service the issue or the customer service the issue.

I have directv and a few streaming services and I’m lost on what to watch on the Netflix/Hulu type things, but I’m sure it’s a learning curve thing.

I’m totally excited for Disney plus though.
Check out the series Shameless or Queen of the South on Netflix. Another good series is Animal Kingdom on Amazon Prime. It all depends on your taste.

CowboysZone LOYAL Fan
Get an IPTV provider enjoy 8000 channels world wide. 1000 US stations, 430 Canadian Stations etc.. has all the sports. NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL games. For like $8 per month on a 6-month sub. Shocked people even have cable today with idiotic prices.
Is that only for phones/tablets or can you stream it with Roku on your TV as well? Doing a google search on it right now

Maybe even PSVue. Suggestions?
My parents use psvue and like it.

They get all 4 local channels, all the news channels, about 15 different sport specific channels, and about 25 of the regular popular cable channels (channels like discovery, history, comedy Central, tnt, tbs......ect) all for $55 a month

$55 a month is worth it for them since they mostly just watch sports and some basic cable channels

Legal, to me, is funny business.
Interests bought and forced upon by... things.

No reason to get into details, but I firmly believe in living within the co-op of humanity over the spoon-fed hierarchy.

I finally decided to dump Directv after 15 years. Ever since they went to AT&T, their service has gotten worse and the prices just as bad. Just decided to go with Sling for now, but thinking about Fubo, but I think it is more expensive. Maybe even PSVue. Suggestions?

Now in order to watch the few Cowboys games that are not nationally televised, has anyone had any experience with the stand-alone Sunday Ticket--via say, Amazon Firestick?

IPTV , YOUTUBE IT LOTS OF CHANNELS I GOT MYWIFI.TV 20.00 DLS MONTH ALL MOVIES, SPORTS AND EVERYTHING, THERE IS CHEAPER IPTVS OUT THERE TOO ,

Virus central unfortunately.

Anyone who wants to use this reddit stream should either do it on an ipad or run their pc in a sandbox. Look up sandboxie free. It protects you from malware and viruses when you are watching these streams.....and most adult content.....stop acting like you don't watch it....
Thanks for the info. I have a android smart tv I use some standard apps you can get on App Store and Kodi for other purposes. Am looking a fubo and other options for the 2 or 3 games they don’t show on regular tv. I am in Florida and actually get most all of The Cowboy games. Actually get excited when I have to use the Sunday ticket for some reason. I don’t mind paying a couple of bucks for a streaming service and most of the sketchy apps can get viruses or is just plain don’t run smooth. Used to use a app called modbro or mabdro (can’t remember which way it’s spelled) it originally worked so well that I almost cut the cord. Glad I didn’t cause to many people heard about it and it got real glitchy.

I dropped Directv in Late June after 20 years. We already had Xfinity for internet that came with a basic cable subscription. I upgraded th einternet program that upgraded my cable plan. I just finished signing up for NFL Game Pass which allows you to wacth any game after it ends online. Military discount means it cost 75 dollars. So I am going to 3 games, maybe 4 this year. That means I will see about 6 others on national TV and it will leave me with 5 or 6 that I either need to go down to a sports bar and watch, or stay away from everything NFL and watch the game when it ends... which will be tough. But, My wife and I do pretty well financially, but even a football freak like myself was reaching my limit with the price of the sunday ticket. Add in the fact that AT&T ruined Directv, and this is where I am.

Get a firestick and jailbreak it.

Used to be able to have DTV for $8.95 a month, as I did that for years. Got ST and pay per view movies only.
They stopped doing that right before ATT bought them. In order to get ST, you needed a minimum $29.95 per month package. That was what I was told in 2013. The lady was so rude and insulting, and did not tell me that, so I cancelled it, and went to ATT U-verse. Then of course they bought out DTV.

All she had to do was tell me that to begin with but she went to the insults saying how stupid it was to switch over.

The only other way is if you live where you can't have a dish installed, they will give you an internet connection only service, or used to. Not sure if that is the case now. As that was back around 2012.
What ever happened to those huge 10 foot dishes. For another couple hundred bucks the guy would install another smaller box in the receiver and you got every channel ever.
