Look at the Rams offensive performance against everybody last season and then get back to me.

Like I said.........deflecting. There is no defending 250 yards rushing in a playoff game where the main horse is CJ Anderson. None.

But you seem to make a habit out of defending the indefensible.

But just to bust you wide open..................Patriots in the SB. They pretty much shut down that Rams offense.

WHY?..............they were OUT COACHED!!!! McVay even said so publicly.

NEXT!!!!!

Actually your math is bad. According to that PDF they had 13 rushes for 63 yards. (I'm not counting the play he was injured on, the WR end around or the 3 yard scramble by Goff).

RB YPC before Woods Injury - 4.84 (13 for 63)

RB YPC after Woods Injury - 7.95 (22 for 175)

YPC Regular Season by Gurley and Anderson 5.18 (299 for 1550)

So what you call "running all over" the Dallas DL was lower than their season average and 60% lower than the average after Woods went out.

Game, Set, Match.
But the saints were able to hold the rams to under a hundred yards rushing and only three yards per carry in the nfc championship without their starting dt sheldon rankins

I saw their run game get shut down the next 2 games. After it looked like we had a high school defense out there. Giving up over 250 yards rushing is about as ugly of a defensive performance as there is

You mean the Saints game where they threw for 300+ instead and then the Pats game, where they lost? Interesting.

Bark!! Bark!!!

Not a deflection at all. You’re the one who’s off the reservation again. Go back and read the post of mine you originally responded to. Then go Back and look at the Rams’ offensive performance against everybody last season and then get back to me.

I'm not following how that relates to my point. Stash (one of my favorite posters BTW) said the Rams loss was almost entirely because the DL was outcoached by the Rams who spotted keys on the DL that gave us certain stunts. (They did, but they still had to execute and they did it beautifully).

My point is that the DTs being injured were a bigger factor and the numbers show that before Woods (who was already gassed at that point in the season) got hurt, Dallas actually holding the Rams RBs under their season average YPC. You can't do that if you are getting killed on every play, as he claims.

The Rams won for several reasons, starting with the fact they were a better team and they executed better on a better scheme. But when Dallas was down to Daniel Ross as their only healthy DT the game was lost.

Well statistics show that you still have a better chance of winning giving up 300 yards passing than 300 yards rushing on defense. You gotta do better than this.

Nah fam. The injury excuse is old and tired. The guys were on the field and numbed up. They could play. They just got outcoached badly and they played subpar.

Again, go back and read my post. I gave you the example of the Patriots in the SB where they shut down the Rams offense.

You replied to my post. Then immediately went off topic. Then accused me of deflecting when I didn’t follow you into the rabbit hole.

You don’t need me to help you chase your tail on this one. If you won’t respond to the actual topic, knock yourself out responding to an argument nobody actually made.
