Would you trade Zeke for Fletcher Cox?

He’s 1 year older than Demarcus Lawrence who you just paid all the money to. Was he too old too?
Just looked it up. Jumped the gun. I have just heard his name for so long I assumed he was older. But we can’t afford him. Making 17 a year. Elliot only wants 15. Do you guys want to pay Elliot 15 a year.

No, but that doesn’t mean he’s not worth it. You need a dominant DT, we don’t need yet another RB (especially if we add Shady)

Keep thinking that.

LOL.

If you had Lawrence at DE with Cox and Collins at DT and then LVE and Smith at LBs............... that would be arguably the best run stopping front seven in football. Any TB would struggle with that.

Fletcher Cox is the best DT in all of football, still upset that we drafted perennially disappointing Morris Claiborne over him.

I don't think the Eagles would make any deal for Zeke because I doubt they would pay him what he is asking either.

People here are assessing Zeke like he is water compared to Brawndo in Idiocracy. Especially considering that Dallas is not a pass focused offense.

Come on you need Elliot. Just give him that contract. It worked out well with murray..

Simple question. With so many people down on Zeke, would you trade him to a division rival for 4x all-pro, 1x all-NFL DT like Cox? We'd have to face him twice a year, maybe three times if both teams meet in the playoffs.

Pros: No more distraction, defense would be top three at worse, maybe #1 at best.
Cons: We have to play against him 2x's a year.

Why would Dallas trade their best offensive player for a defender we don't need? Might as well pay Zeke, it wouldn't cost nearly as much.

What would you do with Fletcher's contract? He's an 11 million dollar cap hit this year and over 20 million every year after that. There is some bonus money Dallas wouldn't take on, but not much. It's a huge contract.

The fact that the answer isn’t obvious to everyone in the thread shows that people don’t really pay attention to what actually wins NFL games today. I think Cowboys fans are slow to accept the reality of today’s NFL because we won Superbowls two 25 years ago with the all-time leading rusher.

 The man was plagued with a foot injury.

Don't flatter yourself. Cox is ready to go. With him back in the line-up, the Eagles will enter the season with the best defensive tackle rotation in the NFL.
