Like almost all contracts, Zeke won't see the end of this one. The Cowboys will be able to get out in 3 or 4 years. He's only 24 now. So barring injury, he should still be productive on 4 years.

not how that works...6 yrs give them wiggle room but up front ie front loaded bonus's and structured in guaranteed money can say 40-43 guaranteed then its essentially a 3yr deal after at maybe 14 per and he can be cut with little dead money left after 3-4 years so hes 30..big deal man.. stop worrying about jerrys money..they know what they are doing with the cap and that why its taken so long, its all the odd details to get him more money now while hes producing 3-4 years and then cut him if he declines..win win .

Best to wait and see how its structured before losing all hope. I doubt its as bad as it seems.
