And a very bad joke at thatYou should know that you’re considered a joke here.

that would be called homer logic, I don't get it either. So for sake of argument if Mitch sucks Dak can't suck?
How do you get through each day alive?
About the same as Rodgers lastnightSome of Dak’s stellar performances from 2018:
Week 3: 19/34 168 yards 1 TD/2 INTs 54.5 Rating
Week 5: 18/29 208 yards 1 TD/2 INTs 66.5 Rating
Week 14: 24/39 206 yards 0 TD/1 INT. 64.7 Rating

Those numbers are Dak Numbers pretty much week in week out!
Dak has 17 games in 3 seasons for under 200 yards what the heck are you celebrating about?
Crazy ....
[/QUOTE]The only Joke here is you and your Dak-Pals who are selling a player that in reality is nowhere to be found on the field.
GL with that.
Now leave us adults alone to discuss in a mature manner the team we love.
The only thing I disagree with is Trubisky’s supporting cast. They have a solid WR in Allen Robinson and a scatback in Cohen. Montgomery is nice but they didn’t use him.At the end of the day, we're comparing two average QB's. If you put a gun to my head and said that I had to pick one, I'd take Dak, but there might be as many as 20 QB's league-wide I'd take over Dak.
Dak is a guy who has to be carried by the talent around him, he's not one of those QB's that can handle an imperfect situation well. But to his credit, he's overcome some of the worst coaching in the NFL to become an average QB.
Trubisky is a guy who has the perfect situation, coach, talent around him, scheme, etc... and he just sucks, never understood what people saw in him.
While my faith in Prescott becoming a franchise QB that can lead us to a Super Bowl is low, we could do worse. I'm going into the season with a semi-open mind and hoping that some good coaching/an improved scheme can help Dak take the next step.
Great post. It's not just about the QBs. The Lions don't suck because how much they pay Stafford, they suck because they have bad/mediocre drafts and struggle assembling a better complete team. Vikings can be considered contenders, last season they were hit with injuries and an OC that though he was the smartest guy in the stadium. Yet to be seen with Jimmy G, but they are in the process in assembling a better team and they had a ton of money to spend after paying him.
Roth couldn't carry his team to a playoff bearth last season. Brees teams were 7-9, 3 straight seasons, he wasn't carrying them to a playoff bearth, much less a Superbowl bearth until they started to fix their OL, defense and had a couple of great drafts. Rivers has been to one Superbowl, well over a decade ago, he's not "carrying" them anywhere. Ryan "carried" his team to a 7-9 record last season.
It's more about the other 52 players on the team, not just 1 guy.
He was awful. Like really bad.
Chicago would have won that game if they had a semblance of offense.
I don’t think it says so much about Dak as it does how hard it is to find a QB, even in the first rndAnd he was a #2 overall pick.
Cost like two 1st round draft picks
Really? You believe that? His point was if you watched those two guys play and think what occurs in DAL is bad you are lying to yourself.
Trubinsky never had a clue all night and the ball came out early, late and off-target all night.
It is nearly impossible for an NFL QB to attempt 45 passes and never get in any sort of groove but it happened for Mitch and if anything he got worse as the game wore on.
Nagy created some offense last year but it is really hard to do that after defenses have seen what you have to offer for a full season.
The Bears may well finish as a bottom 5 offense.
What I was thinkingTypical 1st game of the season, offenses looking out of sync and operating an equal opportunity suckage policy.
I'll start making Pontifical judgements about week 4.
